As someone who works in crimes against children for a day job (and I have young kiddos); I have to agree that while some of the other crime dramas are well done...they are just too depressingly real.
Castle offers me a chance to sit back and simply enjoy good acting, fun dialogue, brimming romance, etc... It is just a treat every monday night!

Not to mention as a certifiable Browncoat, it's always fun to watch Nathan Fillian in action again.

I'm so sorry...but..wait no i'm not. I can't even get past the reveiws. Castle annoys the heck out of me. When Leno goes to reruns maybe I'll watch a full show. Sometimes it looks good or the plot sounds good then Castle opens his mouth and I change the channel. At one point she going to shoot him.right? That I want to see.

One blogger, I don't remember who, compared Castle and Beckette to Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane of the Dorothy Sayers mysteries. I think that's fairly close with Susan Sullivan and Molly Quinn serving as Bunter.

I couldn't agree more; although I don't have kids to watch it with me (whew!). This is one of the funniest hours on television as far as I'm concerned.
