Earlier this week we announced that ABC had decided that Castle could stand on its own and gave up the Sunday night timeslot following Desperate Housewives and moved the first part of the two part “Castle Event” starring Dana Delany back to Castle’s usual timeslot of Monday nights.
Today we were advised that ABC has now decided that it will air Castle on Sunday night following Desperate Housewives but instead of being the premiere of the first episode of the two parter they will air an encore of this episode on Sunday 28th giving viewers who miss the first airing a chance to catch up before the second part airs the following night and hopefully still bring in some new viewers from Desperate Housewives.
An encore of part one of the 2-part Castle will air following a repeat of Desperate. Part 2 of this 2-part episode airs the following night on its normal night and will be all-new. Brothers & Sisters repeat for this night is no longer scheduled. — sitcomsonline.com

- Monday 22nd March – Tick, Tick, Tick.- part 1
- Sunday 28th March – Tick, Tick, Tick. (repeat)
- Monday 29th March – Bang – part 2

Good idea. Universal Channel here in Poland after Monday’s premiere of the episode airs it’s repeats during the week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and the weekend (both Saturday and Sunday), so people who missed Monday’s airing can watch it at more convenient time for them.

I will watch twice… can’t find anything I like better than this show… am a huge murder mystery (book) fan and this brings it all to life. Best show on TV because of the actors and the writing.

I still hate having to wait a week between part 1 &2, but I think this is really for the best of the show and will hopefully bring in a lot more viewers.
This is great news, it shows that ABC is listening to us about what a wonderful show Castle is. Congratulations to everyone involved, the writing team, the actors and the fans. The best part, Castle 2 nights in a row!
I agree with….everyone! I’ll watch a Castle re-run because it’s better than most first run episodes of anything else on. This is the best mystery/comedy on since Moonlighting!
My boyfriend thinks I have an unhealthy obsession, but there are worse things out there to get addicted to.

This is fantastic news!!!! Yippee! Agreeing with Jane.. I’ve converted my husband too. It’s such a fun show, and I do admit that my obsession may be a tad unhealthy, but it’s well-deserved — the show is incredibly well done. Also agreeing with Brandi.. I’ve watched several episodes numerous times…I’m on the edge of my seat until the 22nd! More Castle.. more, please!!!
Castle is fantastic (as I bet you all know) but I honestly hope that ABC advertises the crap out of these episodes, and eps after that too, but i feel like i NEVER see and advertisements for it on ABC. They should really really do it a lot for DWS too, and not just once towards the end.
Absolutely the best show in a very long time. I love the undertones between Castle and Beckett. Also, would like to see the other authors on there more often, referring to the start of the show when James Patterson and others were playing poker. That was awesome.
This show is awesome! I love it and can’t wait for Mondays so I can catch a new episode.

There are worse things to be addicted to in life… It’s nice to have something to watch that is as good as NCIS…
