There was no Castle episode scheduled to air this week (due to the Bachelor Finale) and the 1 year anniversary of Castle’s premiere was fast approaching so CastleTV.net worked with the cast and crew to host a special chat event dubbed “Castleversary”.
We were joined in chat by Terri Miller (Castle writer/producer), Jon Huertas, Seamus Dever, Tamala Jones AND Stana Katic! They were all on set, in the interrogation room and for the most part Terri was typing on behalf of everyone. Terri and the cast stayed back after they had finished work so that they could come and chat with the fans which was very generous of them! They stayed for an hour and a half!
There were a few technical difficulties meaning things got off to a slow start but we had a fantastic time. We had a massive turnout of at least 263 people! Terri returned to chat a little later in the evening and reported that the cast all enjoyed the chat and would like to do it again some time.

[Terri Miller] Seamus _ It’s wonderful. We’ve worked together before.
[Terri Miller] She’s visited the set so many times, it was nice to have her be part of the scene.
[Terri Miller] Jon says she’s been to set so many time we HAD to put her in the scene.
[Terri Miller] Seamus – Jon and Nathan hit on her all the time.

[Terri Miller] Seamus – I think so and I hope so
[Admin] (For Jon) [Marbs84] Will we get a back story on your characters this season? Or maybe next? What would you like to see from your characters as the season(s) progresses?
[Terri Miller] Terri – I think we will find out more about his relationship with Jenny and how he got to the 12th precinct
[Terri Miller] Jon – You’re about to hear a lot more about Esposito and his past. I’d like to bring in a bit more about him being a veteran and being proud of that.
[Terri Miller] Terri – We’re going to get into everyone’s backstories… the longer we’re on the air, the more time we’ll have to develop everyone.
[Terri Miller] Jon – I would also like to see a steamy love scene between Esposito and Lanie. Tamala (giggles) You are retarded, Jon.
[Terri Miller] Question for Tamala
[Admin] (for Tamala) [molly_littlecastle] Do you get scared of the “dead people”/bloody stuff on “Castle” that is associated with your character?
[Terri Miller] Tamala -No, not at all. I’m having fun between takes… joking with the dead people that lay on my slab.
[Admin] By request of our guests we’re going to make this a little more fun … and a little reward for the regular chatters and we’re going to un-silence some people so they can respond. We can’t un-silence everyone right now as we have around 200 people here.

[Terri Miller] Tamala – The Halloween episode was the best because we all were there and we all had the most fun we ever had
[Terri Miller] Jon – Terri is grinning from ear to ear because she is the one who wrote that

[FictionAddiction] “I’ve got to see a man about a corpse” is STILL my favourite line of the entire show!

[Terri Miller] Seamus – one thing that’s different is that Ryan’s more awkward around women.

[Terri Miller] Tamala – I’ve always been goofy as a kid and still am as an adult. At least that’s what all my friends tell me.

[Admin] For Stana [specialkforme] “Sucker Punch” was the most heartwretching episode yet. How does a difficult scene or episode effect you?
[Terri Miller] Stana- The most interesting to play because you’re actually delving into character. So it’s not that it affects me in a negative way. It’s challenging and exciting and those are the kind of pieces I want to work on.

[Admin] for all [sheryllnkansas] What do you enjoy about or what motivates you the most about acting?
[Terri Miller] Stana – I think there are moments that you completely believe in what has been created where everybody is completely committed to the scene, the moment. It’s just exciting to experience that because that’s the drug of it.
[Nerwen Aldarion] Stana: There is an 8 year old boy named Taigen who wants to say Hi! Hi!
[Terri Miller] Jon – What, Stana, you mean I’m not a real cop?
[Terri Miller] Stana – Tell Taigen I say hello.

[Terri Miller] Tamala – Acting was always a dream for me, since I came out of the womb. It’s therapeutic and it’s fun. That’s my motivation.

[Terri Miller] Seamus – Be a better cop.
