Castle Music Award Nomination

The Castle episode “Famous Last Words” written by Jose Molina and directed by Rob Bowman has been nominated for a Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Award for “Best Sound Editing: Short Form Music in Television”. The awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles February 20, 2010.
Each year the MPSE presents the MPSE Golden Reel Awards, in which they acknowledge the year’s best work in the various areas of sound editing: Dialogue & ADR, Effects & Foley, and Music.
Other nominees in the category are:
- Bored To Death “The Case of the Lonely White Dove”
- Castle “Famous Last Words”
- CSI: Crime Scene Investigation “Mascara”
- Fringe “Night of Desirable Objects”
