Welcome to episode 1 of the CastleTV.net Podcast! We finally decided after considering it for quite some time that the beginning of Season 3 would be a good time to take the plunge and start to produce a monthly podcast. We hope to bring you interviews with the cast and crew, lots of news and even the occasional giveaway.
In this month’s episode we’ll hear from some of the cast about what’s coming up in Season 3, we ask you to help us name our podcast and you’ll have the chance to win the exclusive CastleTV.net silver travel mug pictured below. The podcast was awesome! How about “Podcast Heat” for the name of the podcast?
I loved the first podcast. Some of that from comic-con I had not heard before. I’m terrible at coming up with names. The only thing I had thought of was CastleTv Commentary. Now to more anxiously awaiting the premiere and for Kate S.appearance.
I just listened to the podcast it’s really cool names for the podcast how about castle talk I can’t think of anymore …

So here are my podcast name ideas: PodCastle or Castle Clues. Or how about Castle Talk or even Castle Facts. Beckett does like to work with the facts. Hope these are good

I couldn’t pick one, but my thoughts for a title: “Castle Buzz”, “Castle Disclosed”, and “Currently Castle”. Can’t wait to see what you pick!!

I loved this podcast too!
All the little inside info of behind-the-scenes stuff was very funny. The thing Seamus mentioned about each character getting their own writer is very unique. I’ve never heard any show of doing that before, but it definitely works for this show. 
I like what Mali said above me as a name: “PodCastle” – that seems to fit. I was thinking it would be a variation of what Mali said above me and have it be: “PodCast-le” or play around with Castle and Beckett.
The promo had Castle nicknamed as “Bad Boy of Best Sellers” and Beckett as “NYPD’s Homicide Hottie” – so maybe you can combine those two to make: “NYPD’s Best Sellers PodCast-le”
I know, it’s a little out there, but I’m not thinking as creatively as I usually can right now. I can’t wait to hear the next episode.
Really enjoyed listening to the podcast! Some parts I wish there was video for, but then it wouldn’t be called a podcast. lol. Are you going to upload them onto iTunes?

As for names – (which I’m horrible with btw) – how about Castle Chapters? or Castle Notes? or Castle Case Files? or something about him being an author… like The Author’s Notes… but only way cooler than my names.

Great job on the podcast, Admin. The interviews, promos, and news on upcoming events like the special guest chat definitely make this podcast a must-listen for any Castle fan.
I don’t have much to suggest in terms of future content right now, but will certainly think about it. As for a title… “Storming the Castle”? “Heat’s Beats”? “Rook’s Spook”? “The Trojan in the Loft”? “The Heat Report”? “Deep Inside the Batcave”?
Yeah, surely, someone can come up with better ones.

How about “The Black Pawn Cazette”? “Cazette” being a play on gazette, for newsletters, and cassette tapes, that plastic dinosaur which came before CDs and mp3 files.

I’d suggest Castle Cast. Loved the podcast with all the interviews with the cast and some of the crew. I would love to see a podcast commentary later. All the interviews and gossip are great!
Thanks hollymac – there’s already a podcast called CastleCast and they actually do episode recaps & reviews so you might want to check them out – there’s a link above. I don’t want our podcast to take away from what they’re doing so I won’t be doing a commentary type thing.

Actually, there is already a podcast named PodCastle, too. It is a a fantasy fiction podcast and you can find it at http://podcastle.org. I’m still working on clever names for this one, and if I think of any, I’ll post them.
BTW, the first episode was great. I will be putting this in my podcatcher and looking forward to it every month.

I am pleased as punch on listening to the 1st Podcast of Castle – awesome!
It brings worldwide fans all the more closer to the star cast and other members who are responsible for making “Castle” an extremely popular and entertaining TV Show.
It would be fun if we get to listen to “Behind the Scenes” action for each episode. The Podcast with “Behind the Scenes” action can be released after the telecast of the episode/s.
Since, we are all so much into Castle and become like one big family, thought of “Castledom” for the Podcast.
You rock Castle team so never ever call it quits for the show

I absolutely loved this podcast, Admin! I liked the Australian accent (but then again I’m a sucker for those, along with British and Canadian accents).

But I was wondering…….you sound a lot like Adele from the old Fringe Dwellers podcast.

I listened to the show tonight while at work (I’m alone in the office after 6pm, so it was OK!) and absolutely loved it! I especially loved all of the interviews. I would love to hear more behind-the-scenes talk, and interviews with the cast and crew. Now… What’s in a name… How about “Storming the Castle”?

It was very cool to get to listen to the actors and production crew talk about the series and give some insight into each of their characters.I’ve always thought Seamus Dever’s character (Det. Ryan) to be really funny in a quicky, unexpected sort of way, so it’ll be cool to see him – and the other characters – develop more.
