Try and be patient. I would also suggest you contact the TV network that airs Castle and let them know you love the show and would like to know when season three will begin, if they can't tell you right away they might give you an indication of when they might know more. The fact that Castle is finally (at least it appears he does) carrying a gun is good. A tougher Casle will make for an even better rating.
