It looks like Castle will be returning to screens in the US sooner than expected. According to ABC’s schedule, repeats of Castle’s season one will air on Saturdays at 9/8c starting next week (June 20).
It should be noted that while the ABC’s schedule shows Castle returning next week other TV Guides have not yet listed the show.
Season 2 of Castle will air in the fall with filming likely to begin in July.
Update: Start date for Castle season 2 in the US has been confirmed as Monday September 21.

I love Castle! And was very disappointed when I thought the show got canceled, and I am so happy that it isn’t lol. I didn’t know what happened to it. I am so excited that it is coming back, even if it’s only re-runs for now. Looking forward to the fall season!
Glad to hear the show will be returning. I have my TV set to record the show when I am unable to sit and watch it and I noticed it had not been recording the show I was afraid I had cancelled the recording. Can’t wait for the new season I really enjoy it.
I too have my DVR recording for it just in case I miss it, and when I saw it wasn’t I was worried! I love this show and how Castle puts in those funny bits. Hope they solve how Beckett’s mother was killed. Can’t wait for the new season!

This is fantastic news hearing Castle will be back in the Fall lineup… I agree with Judy Hudson comment saying this is a great show with such chemistry between Castle and Beckett. We’ve been on vacation and can’t wait to get home to see the shows we missed, before we left we set our DVR to record them.

So glad to see re-runs coming back onto tv. I need to get a TIVO DVR or something so I can record the first season. Has there been any word if Season 1 will come out on blu-ray?

Love Castle. So glad it is coming back. Never miss it but when we got a digital service installed the new box missed recording one show – I will pick that one up over the summer. Then start again inthe fall. Such a great cast.

My daughter and I so enjoy this show. There is just something about it that keeps you coming back. Yes, there is chemistry but it is also very well written. I too really hope it goes on for many seasons.

I am so glad to see Caslte is returning for a 2nd season. It was one of the most naturally amusing, entertaining series of last season. The chemistry between Castle and Becket was captivating as well as Castle’s relationship with his mother and daughter. Good for ABC!!!
