Nathan Fillion Fun & Fearless in NY

Nathan Fillion has been named one of 11 Fun Fearless Males in the February issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine in a case of fiction-become-fact after his character Richard Castle was in a Cosmo photo shoot for the Season 2 opener “Deep in Death” (repeat to be aired Sat March 6). Castle was also named one of the “Ten Most Eligible Bachelors” in the “Castle” episode “The Third Man” which aired Jan 25th.

Fillion has headed to New York for the Cosmo’s Fun Fearless Male of the Year party and while in New York will appear on “The View” which airs Monday March 1st.

In the first installment of this four part series, WordTheatre brings incredible literary and acting talents to Santa Monica from 3 to 5 PM for performances and an author Q & A. Featuring:

The new Disney 3D animation film “A Christmas Carol” is the retelling of Charles Dickens classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions. “A Christmas Carol” starring Jim Carrey opens around the world this weekend.

Of interest to Castle fans, the voice of Belinda Cratchit is played by Molly C Quinn [Alexis Castle].

Nathan Fillion: Trucker

Diane Ford (Michelle Monaghan), a vivacious and successful independent truck driver, leads a carefree life of long-haul trucking, one night stands and all-night drinking until the evening her estranged 11-year-old son (Jimmy Bennett) shows up at her door.

Peter hasn’t seen his mother since he was a baby and wants Diane as little as she wants him; but with his father Len (Benjamin Bratt) in the hospital, Diane and Peter are stuck with each other at least for a while.

Burdened with this new responsibility and seeing the life of freedom she’s fought for jeopardized, Diane steps reluctantly into her past and looks sidelong at a future that is not as simple or straightforward as she had once believed.

Diane’s neighbour and best friend Runner is played by Nathan Fillion.

Trucker is an independently financed drama written and directed by James Mottern and produced by Plum Pictures.
