Nathan Fillion has been named one of 11 Fun Fearless Males in the February issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine in a case of fiction-become-fact after his character Richard Castle was in a Cosmo photo shoot for the Season 2 opener “Deep in Death” (repeat to be aired Sat March 6). It’s hard to believe that it’s almost a year since “Castle” first went to air back in March 2009. In that time we watched as a short Season 1 gave way to Season 2 and the audience grew week by week. ABC showed faith ordering the back 9 episodes in October and then surprised fans by adding an additional two episodes in January bringing the Season 2 total to 24. The tie in novel “Heat Wave” by Richard Castle was released in September and shot straight onto the New York Times Bestseller list where it remained in the top 30 for 16 weeks and moved into it’s 8th print run. Pre Order New “Naked Heat” Novel

“Heat Wave” written by the fictional author Richard Castle from the ABC TV series “Castle” was released in September last year has spent 16 weeks in the New York Times top 30 bestsellers for Hardcover novels and is into it’s 8th print run.
In January ABC announced a second novel based on Nikki Heat would be released this year. The title “Naked Heat” has been announced and the book will be released September 28th.

It’s finally been announced that UK will be seeing Castle in the Spring. The series has been picked up by UKTV to air on the crime network Alibi.

Castle writer Jose Molina was a special guest in the CastleTV.net chat room on Tuesday 10th February after the episode he wrote “Suicide Squeeze” aired on Monday. We broke previous records with a total of 91 chatters (accordign to logs) visiting during Jose’s session. The formal Q&A session lasted almost an hour and Jose answered questions that had been submitted in advance. After the formal session was over Jose stayed for a further 40 minutes for an informal chat where chat room visitors were able to ask further questions and chat with Jose in an relaxed manner.
