Does anyone know who and how they make "old" photos?   Like in the Knockdown episode which show a young Kate ice skating or in Knockout with a young Montgomery.

Some might be real.  I would guess Castle's picture in the Old Haunt was real.

Do the actors submit a picture for the director/producers to use?

Do they photoshop/computerize recent pictures of the actors?

or

Do they take actual old pictures of the actors put that image into the old pictures?

or something entirely else?
