Okay, I tweeted that Castle [and CSI:NY] will be on location at Downtown LA.  Turns out, they were just two blocks away from each other.  Unfortunately, my friend and I couldn't hang around the Castle location.  :\  But we checked it out — especially because of Nathan tweeting about getting a free autograph for the first 20 people to have lunch at the Wooden Spoon restaurant.  Turns out, they're closed.  Why?  Because they were filming right in front of it.  LOL.

 

Anyway, here's a pic:

If you sqint really hard, there's Stana and Nathan filming a scene.  The cafe on the corner is called Cafe D'Angolo — it was renamed Cafe Amelia for the show!  XD  They were filming with another detective-looking dude.

Was this today or yesterday?  I ask because I was at the Music Center yesterday and there was filming going on – I realize it's not downtown LA but thought maybe they were in several locations. So close!  Thanks for the photo!

I think I passed the locations… they finished filming by the time (around 11am) when I passed the Vanish Bar.Crazy2

 Maybe they have Castle wear purple because it is a royal color. Castle = Royalty = Purple wink
