thanks for posting dmcw.  That was very interesting.  So those windows in Castle's loft are real and let in real sunlight?  Did I get that right?  I didn't think directors liked using natural light when shooting because it's not reliable and can cast the set in the wrong mood.

So those windows in Castle's loft are real and let in real sunlight?  Did I get that right?

 

Yes, he did say that they have natural (sun) light from those windows, but that they are also "fully lit" at a flip of a switch – there are a lot of lights installed on the outside of the loft.

Thanks for linking that here, Admin.  I'm really enjoying these.  This one was a fun little piece, too.  It was interesting to hear what the costume designer had to say about each of the characters.  I do like when he takes more risks with Alexis and Martha, as the variety fits with the characters.  Glad to know he had a fondness for Beckett in leather coats; even though there hasn't been a ton of that this season, it's one of my favorite looks for the character.

Thanks for posting, Admin.  I have noticed that Nathan has been dressed in more blues this season.  I would have liked more elaboration on Beckett's look this season and maybe a bit about Lanie, but I know they can only do so much in one little video.  Very interesting.

There was more, including a bit on Lanie, in his commentary about Punked. Sadly, I don't see it online at ABC.Com any more.
