Looking for production stills of the basement room and tunnel.  Not sure if it is actually all one location or a series of sets.

Curious regardless.  Excellent production value in this episode especially.  Posted on facebook after viewing the episode in the excitement of secrecy, prohibition, and aged whiskey.  Wish he'd gone with the plunger and tp…

I'm wondering where this was filmed (the outside)?  Didn't really look like a backlot – but wondering if it was downtown LA — not really anything I recognized.

so it was at an existing location, or more likely – several different locations (eg the basement was not necessarily at the same place as the bar)

Yea, I probably knew that the bar was a real location because Castle and Beckett were on a street prior to walking in. smile
