If you're a fan of the TV series "Castle" this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.  Executive Producer/Director Rob Bowman has generously donated not one but two set visits to benefit The Reational Center in Los Angeles..

The set visit will last approximately 3 hours and will take place at some point between March 30 and April 9, 2010 during an episode that Rob is directing. The exact date will be worked out between the winners and the production company.  While it is likely that the winners and guests will encounter the stars filming that day, it is not …

While I think the idea is awesome to say the least…I wish the shows that run these auctions would consider offering two ticket chances: A straight auction for those people who can toss around money at will. And a raffle version where, let's say, 200 ($100) tickets give you a chance at the same prize (For those of us who "can't" throw that kind of money around). A raffle like that would still raise 10-20 thousand dollars

I agree White Whale. Doing more of a raffle equals the playing field. Though, if I didn't have a balance on one of my credit cards AND if my car didn't need service, I'd seriously consider bidding. Best of luck to all!

I don't think we should complain about what's being offered, no matter what way they're offering it. I don't have money to try and win a set visit, but I'm happy for the people who might win.

If we complain about what they're willing to offer we'll never get anything else in the future.

Congrats to the winners of these auctions! I hope it's people from here (seeing as we're the best).

Great news for the charity! One auction brought in $6,700 and the other brought in $8,200! That's a total of $14,900! That will help a lot! Way to go Castle fans!

I was semi close in my guess of how high it would go. I guessed $10k so $8.2k isn't bad. Congrats to the winners.

You did an awesome thing by bidding though lacey. You helped drive up the final bid meaning more money for charity.

I tried also, but got blown away in the last 30 minutes of the bidding process.

Ouch – sorry to those of you that missed out but fantastic that Castle fans raised so much for a worthwhile cause.

Maybe there'll be another some time down the track.
