Watching the interviews they do together leads me to believe that they have a friendship off screen.  Plus both of them are Canadians.  They have to stick together. 

Where have you seen these rumors?  It seems to me that the entire cast seem to have a great rapport with each other.  And Nathan and Stana seem to have a close friendship off camera.  She's even commented in a very recent interview that he is like her goofy older brother.   Plus on the home page of this website, in that interview she comments on not being able to "force" that chemistry that they have, that some element has to already be there…thus their close friendship off camera.

It was a rumor that I actually read in a post linked on TWOP and IMDB. The rumor basically stated that she treated the crew poorly and he called her out on it with a few choice words. It was pretty ugly. I can't see it, but I thought I'd ask.

Yeah, that's the one that's been floating around for a few months.

I'm not an insider, but I'd bet it wasn't real in anyway, shape or form. It's just unfortunate that people like dirty laundry and it kept getting reposted on various sites.

Including Twitter, I read about it just two days ago, of course due to the Twitter's short form the post only stated that Nathan called Stana with an ugly word. I've been wondering what it's all about… Let's hope it's not true.

I suppose it is possible that these two are such good actors that they could be putting on an act whenever they have interviews together, but honestly, I don't believe it. I think those two really are friends and respect everyone on set. It's like Nalissa said…some people are just too eager to post ugly things about others (especially celebrities) because they like the trouble and drama. And in all honesty, I don't trust sites like IMdB anymore. I swear, all of the angry, insulting people go there. I've seen several people say the ugliest things there for no reason whatsoever. One person was saying that Patricia Wettig (Caroline the lawyer on Bones) lightened her skin and eyes so that she didn't look as black (which was obviously a lie). It started up a giant problem on the boards because people actually believed that person and eventually the actress went over herself to correct him or her that it wasn't true. After that, I was done. TWOP seems to have people who kind of know what they're talking about, but they're these "masked" people who just throw out subtle little hints and spoilers all the time. I wouldn't be surprised if someone is putting on an act just to stir things up. I'll believe it when I hear it from a credible source.

Just my perspective, but I think we need to presume that rumors are JUST THAT:  rumors.  Unless someone with some credibility provides legitimate information about the relationship of the actors/cast/crew or indicates that the stars are acting like diva's we should presume these stories/inuendoes rumors are as "true" as having female stars have babies with aliens.  You merely have to walk down any checkout lane to see the "headlines" of "rumors and inuendoes" about performers which are merely used to sell magazines or interviews to recognize how crass the business can be.

We must never forget that Nathan and Stana as well as the rest of the cast and crew work enormously long hours for weeks at a time. It is unlikely that everyone will be on their best behavior or feel at their best every single second of every single day.  That there could have been something said or done is possible; that it DID get said or done, only inuendo.  So, I suggest unless there are credible sources to tell us otherwise, we should give these actors the same benefit of the doubt we'd like others to give us.   And, if one or the other IS a problem child, I'm quite sure eventually it will come to light with CREDIBLE information.  If neither of them are problem children, then it is a major disservice to them to help perpetuate a rumor. 

I hate sites that post blind items. If you're going to report something have the guts to come out and say it. Don't be vague or hint so it gets people talking and guessing and spreading rumors. It's a shame that it's making the rounds again since it was out months ago.

Thanks Admin.  This is precisely what I was saying.  YOU have some creds because you have BEEN on set.  And I couldn't agree more that continuing to perpetuate hurtful rumors is not helpful to anyone and is an enormous disservice to both Stana and Nathan who do NOT deserve that kind of treatment. 

Thanks for providing your perspective on this particular set of issues.  I appreciate you weighing in with a whole lot more credibility than the rumor will ever have.
