If you ever wondered if it was worth coming by our chat room, you may be interested to know that we had a special visitor stop by tonight. Writer Jose Molina decided to drop by unannounced and spent half an hour or so chatting with whoever was in the room at the time

It was so awesome of him to stop by! I totally did a double take when I saw his name on the chat list.

It was totally awesome and unexpected. Someone actually asked him if he was the actual Jose Molina.
He was great fielding questions, and giving little hints without giving anything away.
He let us all know that the cast and crew are very excited to have had the show picked up for the back nine.
He even told us that Andrew (Marlowe, I imagine) strung out his tell of the cast that the show had been picked up.
Hope we see him again

Because it wasn't a scheduled chat I didn't think it appropriate to keep a log, it was just an informal drop by on Jose's part.
A quick rundown from memory however, Jose asked where everyone was from. He responded to Boston's question that Lanie is definitely still a cast member and will be in eps 6 and 10 (and possibly 8, that will need to be verified). He told us that when Andrew Marlowe gave them the news of the back 9 he really drew it out. He said the episode he wrote (#7) will have lots of music in it but he didn't manage to sneak in the reference he mentioned in the interview on this site from the Set Tour. He also sad we (fans) keep them flying and they're thankful for it.

Careful, Ashley. I was the one who brainstormed the word 'Stanatic' with lilmac. You should ask her. Plus, just because I'm a Stanatic doesn't mean I cannot support others. The Stanatics are nothing like the crazed Browncoats. We're civil people.

Boston – for the benefit of people that don't know you, you really need to make it more obvious when you're teasing because some of your posts come across looking really mean to the untrained eye/newbie.
PS. Given that he wrote two eps and was Story Editor for the whole series of Firefly I think it's safe to say Jose Molina is a Browncoat… so careful what you say!

For those of you who were not there for the chat……I wasn't talking about bringing Tamala to the chat. I asked when we would see Lanie again after episode 6. Tamala is not in episodes 7, 8, or 9, but Jose confirmed that Lanie returns for episode 10. I was relieved to hear that Tamala wouldn't be missing for long.

I can't believe that I missed this!!!! Now I have something else to be upset for. But last night I just couldn't bring myself to be social. I appears that my husband and I have a dying kitty on our hands, and not a whole lot of options. Maybe if this ever happens again, I'll be around to be social. It sounds as if a fun time was had by all.
