Neat! But, I admit I am disappointed that Nathan Fillion isn't narrating it.  Cry

I'm majorly bummed that Nathan isn't narrating it as well.  I so enjoyed the 3 chapters he read from Virus on Orbis 1 (PJ Haarsma's Softwire series).  I think ABC is really dropping the ball here; think about how many fans out there who would buy the audiobook if Nathan were reading it.  No offense to Mr. Heller, but after listening to some of the samples from his site (http://johnnyheller.com/voice-samples/), I just do not have interest in purchasing this item.

I suspect that it's simply a matter of time. Nathan is working full time on Castle – he and Stana are in pretty much every scene and are probably on set 12 hours a day, to ask him to put time into recording an audio book is probably just not practical. It is a shame though, I've heard him reading Virus on Orbis 1 too and he does a simply fantastic job.

Yep, I'm sure they are keeping Nathan quite busy!  A girl can dream though! :)  I agree that he did a fantastic job for Virus on Orbis 1.  I just loved all the different voices he came up with…particularly Thaylor's…so soothing.  Maybe if they have a sample online of the guy reading the Castle book, I might change my mind, but part of me wants to imagine Nathan reading it anyway.

There's also the chance of scenes in the new season of Castle where he reads excerpts from the book. :)

I don't think I'm a fan. I laughed after he announced "Iron Man" as the title in one of those clips.

Good thought, akajb…I'm sure we'll get to hear him read some of the book on the show (fingers crossed). :)

For those who are desperate, there is that two second clip of him reading from Storm Fall that you can listen to over and over and over…
