Meredith is in S1 ep "Always Buy Retail" which is one of my favourites.

Rick refers to her as a "deep fried twinkie", the guilty pleasure you have once maybe twice a year but every day <blek>, rather mean considering they've just had raunch s*x  he is so naughty.

I hope we see Meredith again, she's good fun and I love how she shakes Rick up LOL

No, almost everything you mentioned happened in the episode. The only part we don't know about, is the reason of their divorce, the cheating on Castle was indeed mentioned in one of the fanfics I've read recently.

And I would also mention that she lied to the headmaster of Alexis' school that her grandfather died, so she could take Alexis from school to go shopping. Now I'd say that such behaviour from a mother is totally unacceptable… Personally I don't miss her at all and I bet Alexis sees the difference between her mother and Kate…

That was the part I was insecure about. Just saw the beginning of ep 106 though:

Castle to Meredith: "…you having an affair with the director, moving to Malibu, and serving me with divorce papers…"

I forgot about the moving to Malibu part, although I will say I'm glad we don't see much of her character, I think it was just one of those bring them in and then it's done; characters.

I thought the casting was pretty good. "mom" and "daughter" really look alike.

Do you think we will get to see Meredith more in future episodes? Alexis does not seem too "connected" to her mom. She sees Martha more as a mother figure IMO. I would also lean towards Martha's wisdom and heartfelt warmth if I was Alexis. 

Beckett has also always shown more emotion and concern for Castle's family than Meredith. Let the chips fall where they may, but my money is definitely on Beckett being the pivotal female in Alexis's life in the future.

Naked Nathan/Castle. Yes please…distract away.

You are right waldkind. The resemblance on both sides is very evident. Might be a conscious decision on the creators part, however, I must say I think Susan Sullivan as a redhead is stunning. The pictures of her with blonde wigs does not do her justice at all.

Molly Quinn has to be the most gorgeous redhead on TV. Now that she looks more mature, and with that porcelain skin of hers, she is unbelievably attractive. My son thinks she is amazing.
