Who says there must be an episode that is linked with the TV show 'Bones'. Both of em' are fairly similar and I think they should get together and have a special episode.

No way they have totally ruined Bones and I want Castle as far away from that as possible. I'm still holding my breath hoping that Castle doesn't go the same rout! I don't even watch Bones now when the new eppisodes come on and they even had to change the day that its on becaseu no one cares anymore.

Don't even think about it. Beckett had thoughts of shooting Natalie as Nikki Heat. For sure, she'll definitely bust a cap in Bones. Bones started off as a good show but the writing went to crap. The characters development was stuck in limbo. Bones is pretty much the same character after six seasons. No growth at all. She's like a train wreck. Bad but you can't stop watching. The unresolved sexual tension was handled pretty badly. Show is in its six seasons and the main characters are still apart. Don't want their bad mojo to rub off on our favorite DD. On the other hand, I feel bad for Bones fan. I can't imagine waiting that long for the Caskett to get together.

Nobody cares about Bones anymore expect the people that only watch it for the forensic anthropology/crime cases. The spark and sexual tension between Booth/Bones was absolutly destroyed when they continually kept them apart. The writers missed the boat on getting them together and completely dropped the ball when they decided that even after 100 episodes they would not even ignite a relationship with them.
Castle/Beckett are in the same place that Booth/Bones were in at the beginning of S5 when Booth realized he was in love with Bones. The difference being AM and crew have probably seen the fallout of what happend when the Bones writers continually jerked the audience around and I am sure they have learned from their mistake. 4 seasons is a good length of time to make the audience watch the swordplay/dance, but because it is mid S3 and the progression of Castle/Beckett's feelings have grown a lot more rapidly then Booth/Bones the writers may need to move the "coupling" up half a season or so so the same storylines or either presence of SO's/continually can't see what everyone else can sees/won't admit it to themselves doesn't become repetitive and boring.

Bones=Fox
Castle=ABC
Fox+ABC=Not gonna happen.
I am pretty sure that the two stations are like two dogs fighting over a single bone. Especially with their unconventional crime-fighting, novel writing partnerships. I'm not sure what would happen if they scheduled them at the same time, that would be like the fandoms worst nightmare, as i find most people who are Bones fans also seem to be Castle fans. Although Bones had a good start, Castle (at the current trejectory) is satisfying more of the fandoms wants from a show. without all the blood and gore, and with all the good-looking sexyness.

I used to love Bones but after this season I'm rather disapointed, unlike Castle, Bones relied way to heavily on the tention between Booth and Brennan and it fell apart during this season, I feel that it isn't neccesary for Castle and Beckett to get together for the show to continue to be as awesome as it is, though it would be amazing if they did get together! I think it would be a little awkward if they did a crossover, the two shows are just to far apart now.

Its not just that they killed the UST between Booth & Bones they went out of there way to create reasons for them not to be together and basically asasinated their characters along the way. I was (and still am for seasons 1-4) a huge bones fan but its really to the point now that I wouldn't want them to be together becasue the characters that they presented for the last 1.5 seasons simply don't deserve it.
And another thing writters shouldn't eff with the fans! Seriously your going to build up the 100th eppisode then in that eppisode change the whole basis of how the relationship started and then crush any decent chance at them actually hooking up. And lets not even talk about the season 4 finally.
Ugh I avoid watching Bones now. Sorry for the rant.

ey turned the Booth/Brennan relationship from a sexual tension to a brother/sister one. Now with Hannah and Bones being good friends and Booth/Hannah living together I think the ship has not only sailed but it has sunk. In an interview I read about Castle they mention if they put them together too fast fans get bored. If they wait to long they risk them entering the brother/sister stage (I forget if AW or one of the other writers wrote this or someone totally different) but either way AM is aware of this and therefore I don't think he will screw it up like Bones did. Can't wait though! 
No offence but the Bones/Castle cross over idea but it is very wishful thinking. LOL could you imagine ABC+Fox = FBI meets NYPD meets Forensic Antropologist/Jeffersonian meets famous Writer. Haha

Gah! I used to love Bones ( in fact I still do deep down) but they have absolutely assasinated the characters. There is no tension, Brennan loves Booth yet gets on well with his other half?!? Then Brennan tells Booth and he absolutely rejects her, quite harshly and pretty much totally out of character for him. I have no idea how they are going to save the show which makes me really sad :(
First step should be to get rid of Hannah, she is so fake and nice and friendly and yuck! I mean her other halfs partner tells her other half they should hookup (for lack of a better word) and then she is all fine about it and they are going out for drinks the next day? What the hell are the writers thinking. She so needs to be gone!
They need to keep those writers as far away from Castle as possible… Though Beckett shooting Hannah is not such a bad idea…

I agree, but don't feel it sworth saving at this point. How do they ever recover from what they have done with the characters and make it beleivable? They probably will ge them together this season because of the backlash but I feel to jerked aroundand used as a fan to invest any more time into Bones. I can always watch my favorite eppisodes from seasons 1-4 on dvd and just pretend that it got cancelled after that!

I completly agree with all of you, I don't know what the writers of Bones are thinking at this point, I recently bought seasons 1-5 and love them and have watched them mulitiple times…season 6, they're going to have to give me a REALLY good last half of the season inorder for me to spend money that could otherwise go to Castle (and will regardless) I think the worst part is if Hannah had been brought in as any other character other than the romatic interest I really would have like her but now I kinda want a cross over so that Beckett can shoot her as Castillion said

Last Castle episode gave my what Bones has denied me, a really intense passionate kiss. It was the right moment, the right time. Perfect, I love Bones, but I was done with Booth holding his passion for that long, at list a geniune kiss people. It didn't lose my interested in the show actually, but it give me a break from the continuous teasing.
I still like both plots, not to fond of the 3D Artist, but in overall Bones and Castle are really nice shows to watch. But Castle is getting a lot better.

I never watched Bones at all, but it seems to me that Andrew Marlowe, at least, is well aware of how so many fans are disappointed in how long the will-they-won't-they has been dragged out on Bones. He seems determined not to make the same mistakes and blaze a new path with Castle.

I still think they can do something else. Bones have a lot of potential, I like Castle a lot too, but is recently I started to watch them. For me Bones is the reason I see the show, I do like Booth. But is her personality that drags me. Is not the first time they have this akward moments. I like both shows to be honest, I won't like any of them to go. It is one of the few shows I watch on TV, since Nikita dissapoint me. I love their chemistry. In castle well, there is no way to forget how he grabs her and kiss her. Eventough after that they act like, well we were just acting, don't we?
In Bones, is not Hanna for me that is wrong, is Booth. He is completly and entirely move on from Bones, like a real guy will do.. lolol. I don't want to have Bones almost dead, or something like that, so he can then realize he love her or still love her.. etc.. Or have Hanna tell him.. ok good bye I leave you, go back to Bones. That is what I see is heading on, I am even seen the she may die, cause she is sometimes involves in not to safe investigation on her own. So yes they will need to come with something really good. And if Bones is going to have a male counterpart, for the time, please not that guy from the bar, common she is not desperate, she has never been that desperate. I guess I should go back to Bones site and complaint there.
I know this is Castle show, but I wouldn't be watching this show, if I didn't watch Bones first. And yes I love both of them very much. Castle is my new favorite show to watch.
