No offence but the Bones/Castle cross over idea but it is very wishful thinking. LOL could you imagine ABC+Fox = FBI meets NYPD meets Forensic Antropologist/Jeffersonian meets famous Writer. Haha

I agree that there will never be a Bones/Castle crossover but there actually was a FOX/ABC crossover at one time.  Ally McBeal (FOX) did a crossover with The Practice. (ABC) but both shows were produced by David E. Kelley so the networks worked their magic to make it happen.  Additionally, a character that was introduced on Ally McBeal later showed up on Boston Public, another David E. Kelley show.  Absent that kind of common denominator you'll never see a crossover between shows on different networks.

The producers of Bones are Like Lucy VanPelt with the football from Peanuts. Poor Charlie Brown (the fans) keep thinking they are going to kick the football(get the romantic payoff) only to have the ball jerked away at the last second (Dream sequence, & constant other love inerests) leaving them feeling cheated and angry. The potental for Booth & Bones was incrediable. But as Seriously Seriously said that ship not only sailed but sunk. I just have to wonder why the writers and producers think that you can't write a good script about 2 people together. I just hope they keep up the pace.

I've tried to watch Bones a few times, but keep returning to Castle. The Booth/Brennan chemistry doesn't work for me, and I cannot warm up to any of the supporting characters, like I can to Rysn/Esposito, Montgomery, and the rest. Today, I watched "Her Head A Splode", and I couldn't bring myself to care what happened to any of the characters. I find that I DO care what happens to Olivia, Peter, Walter, Broyles and Astrid on that "other" FBI show. But for me, the cast and writing of Castle are so much better than either, that I will make time to watch it. And again. And again…

Oh jeeze Maggie1223 if Monk came on Castle I'm trying to think who would try to take him out first, Castle or the Detectives thought it would make for a very amusing episode!Bounce

I still watch Bones, I love that Hodgens and Angela got married, but, I agree that they really messed up the Booth/Bones relationship.  And I miss Zach, the best squint they ever had!  A cross over would be intersting, since Castle and Bones have something in common… they are both best-selling authors!  Though, Castle has a much better personality!

I agree. I still watch it with high Hopes. But they gave ruined it. It's been six years and this last season is just flopping. Which makes me sad because I used to be sooo obsessed with it. Now Castle is my new favorite. I have complete confidence in the writers of Castle to keep in going. I think they way they have Caskett's Dynamic is genius, It's very well done and the acting is amazing. Espicially the times where there is no talking. just all emotion and facial expressions.

I had never watched Bones until just recently I watched on episode just because I have heard the "Bones" curse concern so many times linked with Castle.  Didn't see anything.  Nada. Not a bad show but no sexual tension between the characters at all.  Proof that you can get them together too early, but you can wait to long.

SVU was another of my favs but again, they started to build up Olivia and Elliot than just slammed the door shut.  Why even bother to write for a relationship if you are just going to completely drop it.  Now I don't even see a glimpse of chemistry between them.

But they haven't shown either of them writing in a long while.  Not this season at all for Castle, and not for a few seasons with Dr. Brennen.  Her character was great, and she's a great actress, but after Season 3 they made her weirder and weirder where she acted like she had some twisted form of Asperger's that to me was insulting to people with Asperger's!  They have fixed it a little recently, but I only watch it for the rest of the show/crime, etc. not for the Bones/Booth relationship.  I actually liked the relationship potential between Brennen and the "Finder" guy.  I KNOW Andrew Marlow and Terri Miller are far better writers who would never paint their characters into such a terrible corner!

I actually think AM and TM love their characters and the potential for the show much more than any of us, which is why they are not just throwing them together fast.  I honestly wouldn't change anything about the show so far, even though I can imagine a different ending to the hotel room opening of the door scene with Castle still in the room.  In my imaginings they still wouldn't have ended up sleeping together, but Castle would have been involved in the dialogue. And he would have at least asked her what was in the note, I think, at some point.  That's a long flight.  The thing about these writers is that they write a lot of this stuff like it really might happen, not just how we want it to happen.

well I don't watch bones, but a crossover (might) be fun. and I don't think a crossover is impossible, cos' you never know what is inside the producers' heads right? may be they will surprise us someday.

and a crossover case between bones and castle will make a very interesting episode (I think)

he knows he loves her, she knows she loves him, he knows she loves him, she knows he loves her, but they don't know that we know that they know that we know.

If you've never watched Bones before and suddenly tried it in season 6, of course you're not going to see anything. You couldn't find a worse season then season 6, like you couldn't find a worse season to take a peak at the famous chemistry of David and Maddie in season 5 of Moonlighting.

It is nice to see so many other people who have the same feelings about Bones. To date, I have seen every episode, but for the last two series, I've been watching it from between my fingers. However, (SPOILERS) I have now lost all patience all together that a supportive cuddle after a death of a friend has now lead to a pregnancy. going from A to D while missing out on B and C. I really hate being treated like a total idiot, and so Bones will be no more in my schedule.

On the topic of cross-overs, they seldom work IMO, The Warehouse 13 and Eureka ones were OK-ish, but they share such a common world. So generally I'd leave cross over to the realm of fan fiction or harmless forum talk. Castle occupies it's own world, and you risk diluting or spoiling that world if you force a connection to a different world.  So I'd never cross over for real, at all.  But in the realms of fiction, I'd vote for the Mentalist, with Patrick coming to New York. What fun he would have reading Richard and Kate.

Another fine post from the semantically cute….. Noblelox {Ò¿Ó}

This makes no sense, sorry.  Chemistry between the characters is either there for you as a viewer or it's not, full stop.  It should be there even when the characters are going through their worst moments (and even in relationships with other people).

FWIW, I DID watch the first 4 or 5 seasons of Bones to see what the fuss was about.  I never saw chemistry at any point to be perfectly honest.

Personally, I wouldn't Hart Hanson anywhere NEAR Castle. The man lies thru his teeth and couldn't give a rat's behind what the fans of his show want or if they're happy. He just does as he damn well pleases and everyone can kiss his butt.

I love that Andrew Marlowe actually supports the fans and acknowledges that if it weren't for us, the show would be nothing. So no thanks. As much as I appreciate the talent of the Bones cast, I'd like to keep my Castle right where it is. I don't share well with others.

Yeah i agree, the Bones/Booth Chemistry was totally butchered after the first episode in season 6. i use to love watching Bones, and the reason i started watching Castle was because Hart Hanson constantly said how the two shows were alike. Now Castle has become my favorite, like someone else mentioned earlier AM has written the will they/wont they dance so much better than Hart Hanson, the thing that put the final nail in the coffin for me for Bones was the fact that the Booth/Brennan get together was soooo forced and unnatural, and then bam the next episode she's pregnant?! I think Hart Hanson himself said somewhere in a interview that he regretted writing Hannah or something along those lines. smile
