THE SKINNY: Good news for CASTLE fans. ABC loves the show and Season Three looks like a very strong possibility.

At today’s Winter TCA, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson expressed his enthusiasm for the series starring FIREFLY’s Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic and that it’s looking good it will be picked up for Season Three.

“We’re excited by the show,” says McPherson. “Nathan is fantastic and I think his chemistry with Stana is great. I think tonally, there’s not a lot of shows on like it. Probably BONES is the only other show with that tone and we’ve seen what a success BONES has been. It’s a warrior for Fox.”

Then McPherson smiles, and adds, “Plus, Nathan is amazing and my wife has a major crush on him.”

I hope so!!!!

McPherson's last comment is pretty funny. I'm all about Stana though, her acting and mother's murder mystery has definitely kept me hooked.

Nope, the scenes get VERY dark when I shrink down the size so small, so I lightened it up a bit.

Her hair is the same as it has been in the past few episodes ;)

Like I've said… I'm no longer concerned about a season three, but season four does worry me. Since NBC is throwing their hat back into the 10pm drama slot we'll actually have competition. (Still not too worried though. hehe.)

I think ABC wants to see the numbers for at least 5 or so more episodes before announcing their decision about renewing our favourite show for season 3. There is still a lot of work to do for us – spreading the word about the show to get more eyeballs for the upcoming episodes.

But the news are definitely very promising and optimistic :)
