OMG! I am giddy with happiness over that thought.

And Yes, Silver I watched V last night when it aired. I liked it, but I don't know if I'll be able to follow it easy in the future. It looks like I'll be lost if I miss an episode. I was very happy to see Alan on there last night. Too bad that it was only a guest spot. They killed him off at the end of the premier, so he won't come back as that dude again. Hahaha, Reptile or not.

I always felt that Morena would make a great "ex-girlfriend" for Castle. Like maybe from college or something, they cross paths and 'wham' there it is again ( for an episode ). Morena is great as a strong, self assured type character. She would be just the type of character needed to' kick Kate off her butt' and make her show her affections once and for all to Castle. They could write Morena as a model or some cosmetic company CEO. An ultra-sexy, 'I know what I want in life' kind of woman. But she has to be just different enough from Kate to make Kate step back and say "What does she have that I don't have? I'm better than her, I'm a REAL woman. And beside the fact that he hasn't written a whole book about HER!!!" kind of thought process. * Sending telepathic thoughts to Mr. Molina as I write this.*

Oh the possiblities, indeed!! Wouldn't that be just the BEST wink and nod to have Morena be an old flame of Castle's? Love the ideas in here.

Ah, but if you watched the preview for next week's show you'd have seen Alan in there pointing a gun. Apparently those Reptile peeps are harder to kill than we think. Which is good, because when I saw him get killed by having a long pointed object thrust through his chest, I was all kinds of "No frickin' way!" Shock

It would be great to see Morena on "Castle", possibly as Castle's ex-girlfriend. I enjoyed her performance as Adria on Stargate SG-1's 10th season and "Stargate SG-1: Ark of the Truth" DVD movie.

Get out!! So Alan has at least one more episode as a guest star? I saw a quick print interview about him doing this and he specifically said it was only a guest spot he was doing on V. Now I wonder if someone changed their mind and offered him a spot permanantly? Oh, to see Morena and Alan together in a spaceship again… *sigh* LOL

V did really well last night in terms of viewership… But then again, with all the promotion that ABC did (and well in advance) Im not surprised.

If only ABC promoted Castle more.

Between WriteRCastle on twitter and more importantly the release of Heat Wave I think ABC is doing a pretty decent job of promoting Castle. That said there could definitely be more commercials.

I'll put what I thought of V in spoiler mode.

Overall I liked it. But like others have commented, it felt a little too fast paced. The Visitors arrived and almost instantly we see the humans revolting against them. In the old mini-series it took time to build as the V's true intentions surfaced. Although this incarnation plays with the notion that they have been among us all long breeding chaos they could have developed that theme a little more before the big reveal.

For us to really care about these characters we have to get to know a little about them. In the pilot they were just as faceless as the aliens.

The whole drama between the mom and son did not make sense. His comment about how she's never there for him when it counts… well that made me go "huh?" because the show opens with her frantically searching for him and even breaking into a restricted area to make sure he's ok. To me that looks like she's there for him… when it counts.

I'll watch again but I hope they spend more time in developing the characters.

I think it would be the perfect fit for Morena to come on the show as a past girlfriend of Castle to get Beckett going. The viewership would also skyrocket with all of the firefly fans checking it out who have watched Castle yet. It is a win-win ABC and it even sounds like Morena is very open to the idea.

Now I have a question, who do we need to pay off, to make this happen? Yell

Me and my daughter-in-law are faithful watchers of Castle. Beckett and Castle are great together. I trul y love this show. Hopefully it stays on the air for a long time. HUGE FAN OF CASTLE!!!!!

That would be aweomse! Bounce Morena would be a fabulous guest star as Nathan's ex-girlfriend. I even thing if they had another little fling, and she guest starred for a few episodes it would be good. It would force Castle to confront his feels, he would realize that Morena's a great woman, yadayada but then in the end he would break it off, because his feelings are too strong for Beckett. In the mean time, Beckett would get extremely jealous, and maybe one of them would end up revealing his or her true feelings…. Love2 I also think- I may be wrong- but it seems like Castle has no clue that Beckett has feelings for him. I think it just doesn't come across to him, because he still thinks she sees him as the "annoying 12-year old." Thus he doesn't really act on his feelings towards her, because he wants to keep a respectful distance and doesn't want to use his "Smooth Rick Castle seduction techniques" on her. Haha. whatever that means. Anyways, if he actually figures out that she's jealous, it might shake things up, and give him the green light to make the next move. :D

I think it is really funny that there is a thread on a Castle board about V, it just goes to show that most of us still have a place in our hearts for Firefly. As happy as I am that ABC is promoting the heck out of V, they are also doing a disservice to the show by airing four episodes and then taking a break for four months. To me this is akin to the mistreatment FOX did to Firefly, I only hope V will withstand this. Also coupling V at the same timeslot as NCIS is also pretty silly, NCIS is the number 1 show because it has VERY loyal fans (me included) they aren't going to stop watching anytime soon, which is why I watch V online as opposed to as it airs.

I would LOVE to see Jewel or Morena or Gina on Castle, however I don't think they should make roles specifically for them. I used to be a big fan of the Stargate series but when they began to twist plotlines to include certain characters, against the wishes of the fans, it really backfired. As much as I love Jewel, I stopped watching when she came to Atlantis because they dumped two of my favorite characters to bring her on.

Bringing on guest stars is fine as long as you don't mess with what makes the show great.
