If that is Faye Kellerman, she is a real-life mystery writer. If she just looks like her – I don't know who she is.

I read some place that she is/was friends of one of the other authors, I don't remember which, so maybe she came along when they were doing the shoot and ended up in the scene with them.  Just a thought….

I found her name mentioned on a board somewhere that she was the one playing the part in that scene, then looked around for something to confirm what I had read.  I found a couple places that confirmed who she was, but TV Guide had the pic.  The link, is only to her website.  Don't know if Castle is mentioned, or not, I only scanned a couple pages.  I should have posted the links of where I found her mentioned as the one in the poker scene.  Will try to find them again.
