NBC will air the overhauled Law and Order: Los Angeles on April 11th with a 2 hour premiere. It will then settle into the 10pm time slot on April 18th.
Harry's Law will have finished its 13 episode run by then.

I didn't even think Law&Order LA was still on TV. I thought they had canceled it.

No, but they changed almost the whole cast, I'm not sure if this will help the ratings.

I thought it had lower ratings, but it looks like they were average/solid: Earlier this season, “Law & Order: Los Angeles” averaged a 2.5 rating,
7 share in adults 18-49 and 9.0 million viewers overall, to improve
the show’s fourth-quarter time period, Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET, by 56
percent in adults 18-49 versus the prior year (with a 2.5 rating vs. a
1.6) and by 64 percent in total viewers (9.0 million vs. 5.5
million). “Law & Order: Los Angeles” ranked #1 or tied for #1
versus regular programming in that slot with five of eight originals

The original Law and Order struggled against Castle/CSI Miami last year, so it will be interesting to see what happens here.

Interesting (should we worry? I dont follow this show so i have no idea if its good.)… Lets just wait and see how Castle will pair up with its new competetion..

I cross my fingers for it not to have too much of an impact on Castle's ratings. I don't think it will, but we'll have to wait and see…

Well last nights REPEAT beat out Harry's Law and it seems like the Law&Order francise is peetering out. So I'm not worried. Not to mention DWTS is coming back and that seems to boost rates since it comes on afterwards and it's up in people's faces.

Rizzoli and Isles doesn't start up until June or July, TNT website only says "returning this summer", or something to that effect. I love R&I, and I'd hate to have it compete with my Castle!

Nev827, I don't think Rizzoli and Isles will start until after Castle is finished for the season, so that should be ok.
I don't think NBC does this Law and Order LA reboot any favors by putting it up against 2 shows in the same general genre. If anything, I would figure it would draw viewers away from Hawaii 50, as they have perhaps a more similar style and tone, but that's just a guess. I was concerned about Hawaii 50 and Harry's Law against Castle this year, and Castle has largely held its own. The ratings are getting back to early season levels (so hopefully the fall off that occurred Dec through Feb will not occur again). The Bachelor was not the best lead-in for Castle this year (although Castle thrived after it last year), so it's great that DWTS is on before the next new episode.
In general, 10 pm shows are really struggling this year (Hawaii 50 falls among the best of them and has a demo only in the high 2s…Law and Order LA was #1 in its slot before at 2.5). I'm hopeful Castle will do ok against the new competition (plus Law and Order LA will follow The Event, which returned to low numbers…this never helps a show, especially a "new" one).

With the advent of PVRs time slot competition becomes less important. If 2 or more shows air at the same time, you record one and watch the other. I PVR all Castle episodes and enjoy watching them sans commercials. (heresy).

But "live" watching counts more for TBTB and ABC. It is all about the money,

Being in Australia, we are behind on airing of Castle. That having been said, I am up to date on episodes ( thank DOG for the internet).
Two things come to mind with the schedule of episode's
1. The constant interruptions of frequency has to have some effect on viewer loyalty ?
2. The new season one programs that have come out are getting viewers and developing a following because of No1
One of the main joys of Castle has been consistency of story line, character development and broadcast times
S1E1 hooked me, but i must confess the irregular and just plain "NOT THIS WEEK" is starting to piss me off.
Not that i will stop watching my favorite TV show, but i have started to look for fill in's during to week's of no Castle.
This stuttering has to be having an effect on the "Numbers" [Image Can Not Be Found]
