As a writer, I was very skeptical as to whether or not Nathan Fillion would be able to pull off the mind-set of an author. I loved Mr. Fillion in the show Firefly, and was excited that he was in a new show, but still I wondered…

However, after having seen the episodes of Castle that have aired, I'm stunned! Nathan Fillion is the perfect depiction of a writer's mind. His every thought is perfectly in sinc with that of a writer. I'm floored! I give my utmost compliments to the writers and to Mr. Nathan Fillion, himself, for their uncanny ability to exactly show the thought processes of a writer's mind.

I'm an aspiring writer and enjoy watching his "writer-mind" at work. I'm interested in discovering tips aon the writing process. In a previous episode, we got to see a glimpse of the outling software he uses. Would anyone happen to know the name of that software?

Castle's writers-mind   Nathan F's acting chops should never be in question.  He is a joy to watch but writers of the show are the real stars.  Love to see some "dream story lines"  where the characters in the show go through a scene in a dream.  ie.  NIKI HEAT….voice over with Nathan F.  Just a thought.  NOt an inspiring writer just a fan of the show putting in my two cents.
