I agree with everything you said.  My dad always jokes that he's bummed they never had any cops/detectives that looked like Beckett when he was still working (my mom rolling her eyes). We have concluded that the most realistic female cop on tv is Ziva David from NCIS.

That thought has just recently occured to me too! There's always a "click clack" to her step when they are coming up behind someone… not very stealth. I literally feel my ankle breaking when I think about running in heels

I guess that's why it's entertainment[Image Can Not Be Found].  And I do understand why she is always in such high heels.  They want to make Castle and Beckett look like equals and it is easier to do when they are closer in height. Even though Stana is pretty tall at 5'9", Nathan beats her by almost 5" at 6'2"ish.  So she needs those 3+" heels to be about at the same level.

Go back and look at how short she looks next to him when they are looking at her "murder board"

I dont know if he was kidding or not but Nathan once said that when he is on screen with VW he squats a little to make VW look even taller and more imposing.

There's an obvious change in Beckett.  I like all of her hair styles throughout the 3 seasons, but I'm really lovin' it this season! ;D

I've noticed Esposito's hair has been shaved!  He had hair in some episodes, but currently it's shaved!  I have no idea when his hair was shaved.  It got me thinking back to the episode from season 2, the "Double Down" and how Castle & Beckett had a bet with Espostio & Ryan on who would solve their case first.  The loser would have to shave their head, among with other things.  I wonder if they made Esposito shave his head for that… I'm not sure but I think he still had hair after that eppy.  Not sure though…

My mom was commenting in the episode "Setup" on that.  The end seen, with the gunfight and Castle and Beckett are checking the place out.  She was like "Oh, her heels making so much noise!" xD

I did notice that his hair is a bit longer than in earlier episodes.  I kinda like it, actually.  More "devil may care".  I know it sounds weird, but I think it makes him look more attractive.  As for Beckett's hair, I've said it before, but I do like her hair this season, especially the wavy style that it's had for the latter half of the season.  But my all-time favorite style was as it as in last year's finale.  The shorter, sleek look was awesome on her and totally said "single, happening, fun, city-girl."  Just my opinion.
