I use slang language all the time. I'm not sure if that annoys you guys as well. If it does, you should probably just skip over my posts. Otherwise, I can go to a different Castle forum and torment other language nazis.

I just want the very basics (capitals/periods/apostrophes) that make a sentence readable. More is great. :) I don't mind most slang, it's more things like txt-speak that bother me (u instead of you, or r instead of are). I actually had first year University students submit an assignment that included txt-speak – we had to introduce a list of things to do (like write in full sentences, include your name). You'd think that would be obvious. :???:

Hello everyone, I usually lurk more on these boards than post.  But I have posted here and there.  I will usually try to log on during a break at work, haven't been busted yet. LOL!!  I'm in my 40's.  I have my mom (separate household) hooked on Castle now and she is in her 60's.  I'm still working on my younger sister.  She has watched all of the episodes of season 1 and still isn't totally sold on Castle.  Not sure why?  But I'm hoping she will watch season 2 or at least tivo it.  She is in her 30's.  I personally, love the show.  She says I'm obsessed with the show.  I would have to agree!  LOL  She has her own obsession "True Blood".

Okay, need to get back to work….

I usually try to catch myself when I'm typing but I do have a habit of using “u” and “r” instead of spelling it out all the way when I'm on the internet. It's quicker and I text all the time so it just kind of naturally comes out.

I've just turned 41, live in Sydney, Australia with my Dad and 3 spoilt rotten cats.

Loved Castle from the minute I saw it and my first glimpse of Nathan was <fwoor> who is THAT! Suffice to say I was hooked. The longer I watched the more I loved it. The dialogue and humour are top notch and I love the interaction between all the characters.

I'm a legal PA to two Solicitors in a medium sized law firm in Sydney, have done this for nearly 10 years. Have written fan fiction since I was about 15 but of course back then I had no idea that anyone else did it.

As you've probably guessed by now, there is no shutting me up
