My entire household, except my grandma who watches LMN and the Catholic channel nonstop, is a fan of the show. I'm in my early 20s, my older sister is in her early 30s, both my parents are in their late 50s.

Initially, it was my sister who cottoned on to the show, but ever since I started watching it with her I became the more crazed fanatic and my parents watch it with me because I've gotten them hooked on it, too.

I hope this is an appropriate question.  The writer in me is curious – what are the demographics of fans of "Castle"?  For example, anyone have an idea of the age range at this forum?  Seems to me the average person is quite young.  But I'd love to know!  I'm in my 50's – do I have everyone beaten, age-wise?  I hope not!  I have a reason for asking, pertaining to a magazine article I'm thinking of doing, can't talk about it yet (writer superstition ).  But anyone want to share even the decade they're in?  Thanks.  Not for publication – just as an idea. I'm thinking – the gamut from teens to those in their 60's are covered on the show, so maybe the audience/fans are the same?

I'm 51 and my wife is 52

Some would argue I am either older or younger though

I'm thirteen and my grammer is pretty good. Of course I'm a wannabe writer, who can't help but correct other peoples obvious spelling mistakes. Or maybe it's the fact I never "Text talked" in my whole life.  Of course it took me a year to figure out what three abrivations were…

It makes posts a lot easier to read and understand. Often posts read as one sentence and lose a lot of meaning. Capitals at the start of a sentence and periods at the end make a huge difference.

Yeah- To be honest- I really hate it when people can't punctuate or spell properly just because it's the internet.

For some reason I can't edit my post- But one thing I wanted to say was that- Even though we have such a huge age range- I really never notice in chat. (as long as the younger people use proper english lol!)

It's no diffrent talking with people my age- or talking to people who are older, which i think is kind of nice :) Embarassed

Don't be too hard on the spelling snafu's and strange grammer, though.  We have folks on this site whose native language is NOT English.  As long as they can "communicate" their ideas, I'm not a fan of coming down on someone because of spelling or grammar, especially if they're a non-native speaker.  Then, too, some of us type a tad faster than our brains/fingers can handle and we end up with a few typos…especially in the chat room when speed is of the essence on occasion.

Thank you! When the British and the US Americans can't agree upon what is the correct spelling, how can anyone expect us from the rest of the world to master the English language? Tongue

Totally agree Graffiti, it drives me nuts. Angry

The 'excuse' I'm just a teenager does not wash with me, you want to play with the adults then grow up, neither does 'its just the internet' or 'its ony fanfic', sorry but if you can't be bothered doing your best effort then don't torture us with it.

Everyone makes typos, particularly in chat but it does bug me on the forums.

Let me tell you something about crazy people. The sex is unbelievable.
