Just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on what you are doing to celebrate season 4? Last year I made a cherry pie for dessert. Not sure what I'll make this year, My parents suggested throwing a party, but the friends I know that watch castle don't care to be out that late, so it'll proably just be me and my fam watching it, but that still cool.

Anybody have something dessert wise that stands out as being fitting for castle?

That´s a great idea. I will probably celebrate Castle premiere with Buggles nacho cheese (I love it!) or if I´m in the mood, I´ll have ice cream as well. I am so friggin excited it´s only 2 weeks to the premiere (not to mention the premiere of the Mentalist!)

Castle's My favorite # 1 show but I'm Looking forward to Greys Anatomy and Private Practice Too. I like things that are salty and sweet, so I have to find a dessert to make that's easy.

(I'm recovering from viral double pnemonia with a bacterial infection and I'm on oxygen)

If it involves baking that's ok, just'll have to remove the canula for a few secs while I put it in the oven.  I thought of brownie's but there too Plain. It needs to be fitting of castle and be over the top. Ideas Anyone Please ??

Oh my goodness castlefan87!  I certainly hope you feel better soon!

If you like salty and sweet, how about chocolate covered pretzels?

Sad to hear castlefan87. We need you in better shape before the new season starts.

I wanted to mention baklava but that's pretty advanced stuff to make.

Yeah My mom has a recipe for Baclava and it literally takes all day to make but it's so worth it. But I don't think I'm up for making that but nice suggestion.

Oh creme brulee sounds awesome, though I might take the easy way out and go to target, cause in the frozen food section, By archer farms makes a creme brulee in these cute oven proof dishes and it's so good, bake for 5 minutes, let cool and then you sprinkle the top with sugar and torch it. ( Thats my favorite part)

Thanks for all the well wishes everybody, I'm trying to get better but it's definitely harder than I thought it would be but the docs did say it would take a couple months to get feeling like I used to.  But I'm definitely excited and will be ready for premiere night,

great topic! Coffee flavored cake is so appropriate and I remember seeing those pics of your wonderful party!! Something chocolate seems to fit the mood.  Or maybe premiere night could just include foods they've mentioned in the episodes, e.g. comfort food truck food (mac 'n cheese, warm biscuits, hot chocolate), Smorelets (too gross?), milkshakes ("from Remy's")…. anyone know how to make cow's foot stew? hahaha

Deep fried Twinkies? If you have something based on Castle moments – ice cream is a favourite of the Castle/Rodgers family or something with cherries ("you smell like cherries")?

This is not my recipe, but if you want chocolate, I would suggest this.  1 box of brownie mix, add 1/3 bag of milk

chocolate – chocolate chips and bake per instructions.  After cooled, spread a jar of marshmallow cream, a layer of

chrunched up oreos, drizzle hot chocolate, and more chocolate chips on top.  I also added a drizzle of caramel sauce.

I found this on a  Castle fanfiction story, called Blizzard.  Fun story and excellent dessert.
