He really is such a brat! Laugh I love his description of Nikki Heat, "…and kinda slutty!" Beckett looks like she wants to smack him and the look he gives her at the shooting range when she says "we can just cuddle Ccastle" and he gets three bullseyes LOL. He loves to tease her and truth be told I think she loves the teasing.

For me its the second biggest charm of the show, the humour. I love cop shows but they can often be a bit…depressing. Castle is the opposite with humour, sometimes at the wrong time LOL but he's so funny.

May it LONG continue

I think my favorite bit is probably the whole interrogation scene from the pilot.  "It was Spring." "I'd be happy to let you spank me." "I don't want the bodies, just the pictures."  Laugh

I agree – one of my favorite elements of the show.  He just loves to irk Beckett by teasing her, and I agree, I think she secretly loves it.  My favorite bratty comment of his?  So many!  Loved the one the other night about "It's raining men" when they got to the scene and the body was in the tree; loved the rug comment; there was another one last week that i can't recall – Beckett just turned and looked at him.  Anyway, it's part of his appeal that Castle is such a loveable brat!
