Wow. That sounds good on its own but it's interesting that it parallels some of the thoughts here on how the season would end.

I was thinking the same thing! The books theoretically should mirror what has already happened (in terms of research Castle has gathered), but this sounds strangely like what one could predict is coming up.

I like it. Not only was Castle doing research at the S/M-club in "The Mistress Always Spanks Twice" [Image Can Not Be Found], he also is reflecting on the "rogue-missions" he did with Kate this season. Makes me wonder if we get to see how those near-death experiences affected Castle after all.

Laurie Zaks has tweeted the article link today as well. I'd like to think that TPTB would not have allowed the synopsis for Heat Rises to be released before the end of the season if it was in any way close to what will actually happen at the end of this season or into next season.
However, I was also surprised at how much was released in terms of photos and footage of the kiss in Knockdown. And Naked Heat opened with Rook found unexpectedly at a crime scene in much the same way as Castle was found in 3x01 (and that book was finished before those events and the chapters were released before the start of season 3), so it has happened before. I know it's everyone's prerogative to chose whether or not to engage in being spoiled, but this article would be an unexpected way to be spoiled if that happens to be the case in any way.
I'm not having any expectations that the synopsis mirrors how things will play out, but it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility that Beckett
could be framed by the Big Bad for getting too close to the truth and get arrested or go into hiding before trying to clear her name…or that she could be disgraced due to conduct in the case or framing by the Dragon and be fired or forced to take a leave or resign.

A major Ausiello spoiler came out today about the season finale where
a character dies. So I'm wondering if whoever it is that dies, Beckett is made to be the scapegoat and is forced into administrative leave.
However, we have to keep in mind that Castle is writing the book based on experiences he has had previously in shadowing Beckett. How can he put something in the book that hasn't happened yet from his point of view?

Well, in the sneak peak for next week's epi, Martha says Castle's writing style is to procrastinate until the last minute, then write frantically with the deadline looming. Maybe he writes the book this summer.

That's my guess – that since the book comes out in the fall, what has been described has "already happened".
Just to throw a little cold water on the spoiler / book synopsis is that this was put out by a "rival" publisher: Hyperion Press, NOT Black Pawn

The only issue is that it does say that "EW has obtained a plot description from Hyperion, which has already published two New York Times best-sellers from the crime novelist Nathan Fillion plays on ABC’sCastle, Heat Wave and Naked Heat." Hyperion published the books irl, not on the tv show.
