Castle also gets a mention in the magazine this week. It has Michael Jackson on the cover. One of the big stories is how NCIS is taking over television. The mention comes in "TV's best procedurals" and is an introduction if you're new to the world of one-hour mysteries.

Best Writing: House

Best Ensemble: (Castle) Rick Castle's chemistry with his partner Beckett and daughter Alexis gives the show its retro charm.

Best Gore: Bones

Nice! I'd have to add that the WHOLE cast is outstanding. Yes, C&B are what keep me interested but when they interact as a team and as a family unit… welll it's priceless. It's one of the only times I wish I was a NYCPD. Laugh

Got my issue in the mail today, and they also mention Castle in the list of shows to watch for the upcoming week. They wrote "Debi Mazar guest-stars as an agent who offers Castle a new gig. Yeah, because partnering with her worked so well for Maks." If you don't watch Dancing with the Stars, Maks was her dance partner.

Thanks for posting about the mention in the NCIS article as I totally missed that…I agree it is great EW is giving Castle some love…I'm sure it helped quite a bit that Nathan stopped by their offices when he was in NY.
