dmcw, you are right. Arye Gross was in Ellen Degeneres' sitcom from 1994-1996. In its first season, it was called "These Friends of Mine," then was changed to "Ellen." Arye played Ellen's roommate Adam Green. Since then, according to IMDB, it looks like he's done a lot of guest spots on a lot of different series, and had a few recurring roles on TV shows (like "Wildfire" on Lifetime, "The Riches" and "The Practice"). Personally, I can't decide if I like Perlmutter. Maybe it's because I like Lanie so much more, but if his character never appeared on the show again, it wouldn't bother me that much. Don't get me wrong, he is funny and Arye does a great job portraying him, but I don't see the character driving the story in any way, like Lanie and Captain Montgomery do. Just my opinion.

Karpowski was also in When the Bough Breaks. I'm not 100% sure if she's any others, though.
Perlmutter is great. I'm glad he's coming back. I was starting to wonder if they were through with him! Nothing against Lanie, but he's so cranky- I just love his character.
I agree with so many others already mentioned- this show does have amazing guest cast! The ones that I would MOST like to see return are Meredith (Darby Stanchfield) and Gina (Monet Mazur). I do hope we haven't seen the last of them! Would also love to see Paula Hass, Norman Jessup, Powell, and all the poker guys come back once in awhile. Might be fun to bump into Jeremy Preswick, Will Sorenson, Skye Blue, or Lee Wax again, too!

I'd love to see Perlmutter again. Of all the characters on the show, I suspect he's the one I'd get along with the best.

Thanks for sharing dmcw. I think we can all agree, now that practically everyone who has guest starred on Castle has said the same thing about Nathan and Stana, that it's not just a fluke or a case of them getting along with just a few people. They really are genuine, kind, considerate people. Even when working. Nice to know!

my all time favourite castle guest star is dana delany. wow she was awesome in the two parter.

also looking forward to see jim beckett in future castle episode. he was great in sucker punch.

I've read a couple articles that have said they will try to work Jim into a future episode because Andrew really wanted to keep his scene in Knockdown, but just ran out of time. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I'd love to see Marlee Matlin as a guest star on Castle. Her hair and looks make me think of Stana, at least I think there's a resemblance. I think she'd be excellent as Kate Beckett's Aunt (her Mother's younger sister).

I've just read that Morena Baccarin will be a guest star in The Mentalist in April. I wish her the best, but I wish at the same time she were in Castle!

I agree totally. I'm glad she got another part in another show, but I really would have loved to see her and Nathan together again. Maybe next season.
