I find as I rewatch episodes there's little things the actors do, or one liners they say that I don't catch the first time or two that I watch. I find these are the type of things that make these epsiodes re-watchable.
Two of the ones that stick out to me are:
1) When Castle sits down at Beckett's desk with a cup of coffee and Beckett picks it up half way through their conversation. Castle goes to say something, and then lets it go. (I know some of you have also noticed this in the Castle/Beckett quirks thread).
2) In ep 4, the one where Castle is always complaining about the coffee. After they arrest the hotel guy, Calvin Creason, there's a short scene where they are standing outside the interview room and Castle is watching the guy take a sip of coffe. Calvin shudders after taking the sip and Castle says "I feel you man."
Anyone noticed any other moments?

I noticed in Little Girl Lost that there was so much we learn about Castle just observing what's going on without saying a word. In fact there are many moments througout the season that show one or the other of the characters expressing a lot without using words. I think that's really cool, shows that there's a lot more to acting that just delivering dialogue.

I really like the episode Little Girl Lost because we see Castle doing the right things in his relationship with Beckett. When Beckett first talks to ex-BF FeeBee (FBI) Sorenson, Castle is quite and stands behind Beckett. But as soon as Sorenson says "You Look Good" (in that creepy, arrogant way, ugh), Castle steps forward and stands closer, touching Beckett in order to get introduced. I love his face at that moment too. Here's another one–just before heading into the interview room with the fired Asset Manager, Feebee says, I'll take the lead. Castle nods his head as he stands behind Beckett. Then Feebee says NO to Castle. Castle quickly steps back just behind Beckett (his protector?). Then when Beckett says, He'll be find, Will–Castle smiles and looks at Beckett, as if to say–I'm happy you think well of me. My favorite is the "I need you to go home scene". First, Castle now actually ASKS What should I do? of Beckett, while the early episodes he just did what he wanted. After she tells him to go home, he looks at her almost with sadness and hurt, then looks at FeeBee and then back at her, and says the absolutely right thing–"OK". My heart is melting watching him tell her the next lines "Call me if you need me…" then calmly walks away. Perfect response by a man who loves and respects this woman.
I don't care if I sound obsessed! Love this wonderfully entertaining show.

Very detailed observation from Castle lover 54 . Some times Nathan talks so fast I have to re watch to get what he is saying example. Pilot eps. He is in kitchen with daughter and offers her some whipped cream part of that dialogue before the offer or after the offer is really hard to comprehend. The edit department should have caught that.
On the TOPIC OF MISSED MOMENTS: Castle is being briefed along with the other Detectives at the Police Station and he looks at Ryan's tie and shades his eyes. I must have walked out the room for just a moment to miss that piece of gem of a scene. It was really funny. And it broke up the seriousness of the scene and made it a bit lighter.

Do you mean the part where he says, "Baby bird?" when offering it to her? I had to go back and watch that scene again to figure out that line.

I believe there's a line in there that's not in English that's why it's hard to figure out.

Right after Alexis says, How was the Slammer? Did anyone make you their bitch? Castle says something like No, that means I still belong to you? Anyone catch that exactly? For sure after that he says the adorable line: Baby Bird? To ask her if she wants some of the whipped cream. What a great relationship he has with his daughter and Mom. As soon as he comes home, he becomes a completely different Man…a MAN man, the perfect man..cooks, single father and protector of his daughter and mother.

I believe he says "Sorry switchblade, still belong to you." I love the "baby bird" comment with the whipped cream.
And not afraid to have fun with his kid

I love in the laser tag scene his mom says "how old are you?" and Castle's response "Old enough to own top of the line laser tag." I'd love to have laser tag to play around with at home… of course I'd never get anything done.

Ah, okay, I didn't understand that part at all, lol. And I agree–it would be really fun to have my own laser tag set! I'd probably flunk out of college though [Image Can Not Be Found]
