Musiclover, I read that interview too, but it sounded to me like he was joking around about that.

As for Castle's middle name, I have no idea . . . but I hope he found out because it was mentioned in a script!

I wouldn't trust wikipedia because anyone can write anything there… I don't recall ever seeing any official mention of Nathan's middle name

Much like our venture with guessing the name of the next Nikki Heat book, I say let the games begin with guessing Castle's middle name.

I vote on Richard Nathan Castle, but I'd settle for Richard Malcom Castle too.

haven't read others responses so sorry if this is a repeat.. but… I'll have a shot- don't twitter so can't tweet it..

knowing Martha is self absorbed.. and loves the theatre.. I would imagine Castle's middle name is a famous actor of the stage.. if only one middle name try ' Lawrence' if two middle names.. try ' Lawrence Olivier' !! Or what about 'Tony' as in.. the really big broadway award???

One middle name I am pretty sure I can rule out is… ' Danger' ;)

Okay, here's another thought on the father issue and the middle name:  perhaps Castle's father is:    (WAIT FOR IT)……Andrew Marlowe…

so maybe his middle name is:  Andrew    as in Richard Andrew Castle

I went with Tennessee -for Tennesse Williams per Street Car Named Desire. I figured since Martha had really a party girl on Broadway and off!;), he must have been an actor or writer. Street Car Named Desire is a popular off Broadway play so perhaps she was doing a run of that when this all happened. I'm sure there was a reference to the 'night' or 'timeframe' in an episode, Martha speaks briefly to Castle about it. I can't figure out what episode it was so if you want to clear up that timeline mess for me someone, please do. Maybe its the Chet conversation I'm thinking about.
I guess Martha would be to young to be a conquest of Hemmingway.
