I've been thinking about this…. and I don't know but my random guess would be Sebastian. I also thought of Christopher but somebody already mentioned it. I wonder if Martha will use it in that way parents do when trying to get your attention or scold you about something. "Richard (middle name) Castle!…"

Wait!!! One more! Richards middle name is…Richard.

Off the top of my head I can name about ten people I know or know of that go by their middle name. Some like to do the 'guess my middle name' as a prank.

I originally Tweeted to him either Laurence or Olivier (per Martha), but I'm thinking Johnny (to Johnny Snow or Johnny Donnelly, he has done a couple shows with the name Johnny) or Malcolm, as another Firefly reference.

I've been pondering this very thought for several months.  I think that Richard's middle name is Jameson.  Richard Jameson Castle.

I've got even one thought further and that Kate's full name is Katherine Nikkole Beckett.  When she found out the character's name he based on her would be Nikki Heat, she flipped out.  She covered tracks with the fact she thought it was a stripper name, but what if….Hmmmm.  My thoughts that these names, in his new series, actually hit personal nerves.

Castle – "Well, you are a mysterious woman, Detective Beckett"

Beckett – "Maybe there's a little more Nikki Heat in me than you think"
