In another forum, some folks got to talking about if they had their way, who would they cast as Jameson rook in the Heat Wave movie and it got me thinking – why not start a thread where you pick your dream cast for the Heat Wave movie.  Chose a real-life actor/actress for each of the main characters in the book: Rook, Nikki Heat, Captain Montrose, Raley, Ochoa, Lauren Parry, and Rook's mother.  One caveat – no picking the actors in Castle to play their counterpart in the movie. 

Here are my thoughts:

Rook: George Clooney

Nikki: (besides Laura Prepon) Jennifer Garner

Captain Montrose: John Amos

Raley: Alan Tudyk

Ochoa: Jimmy Smits or (I can't believe I'm gonna go here) Mario Lopez

Lauren Parry: Jada Pinkett Smith

Rook's mother:  Lilly Tomlin or Holland Taylor
