OK I think its a pretty safe bet that Rick and Kate ARE going to get together so how do you think they should do it?

Spontaneous?

Planned out?

Reaffirming life after a bad experience?

Jump in with both feet?

I agree about the first kiss. Not sure how I want them to get together though. I just know I want it to be Beckett who makes the first move.

Just hope the writers can pull it off gracefully. I'll take anything :)

To be fair though, it's a lot different with that type of comedy show.

We,the audience, all know that Beckett is a super fan and is super attracted to Castle so it'd be nice for the first kiss to happen as an unconscious, spontaneous act by Beckett: possibly while she is fixing his outfit or something for some reason and the mood is that of domestic bliss and she impulsively kisses him (like a peck) without even thinking about it. Then, they realize what just happen and then they go in for a more committed kiss… I don't know if this is cliche, maybe it is, I don't care.

I agree that they should go at it slow and steady, but I'd like to see them try dating and all the complications in emotions and actions that come with it before they are together together. I think there's a good amount of material that can be explored if they played the dating dance sooner rather than later.

I could not have written a better kiss moment they you Cherries. I am hoping that it happens just like you stated. 

There is still so much problems that can happen in the relationship that will continue to make the show fun to watch.

As the most un-romantic person any of my friends know I just can't decide how they should do it.

The one scene that plays out in my mind is of Rick walking up to Kate, taking her face in his hands and just planting one on her but I just can't see the rest of it. :(

Or on a more humorous slant them waking up in bed together (they haven't had sex) and its a very awkward moment until Rick probably decides to throw caution to the wind and kisses Kate but again I don't know what leads them to this point :(

I think they should have a party with the precinct at Castle's place (birthday or release party), Castle and Beckett get drunk, fall asleep on the couch together, Martha and some of the detectives move them into one of the rooms just to lay them down, in the morning they wake up and freak out that they're in a bed together, when they go to work everyone teases them that they slept together (they didn't), makes things awkward, but adds tons of new great lines and humor, then things bland out again, then Alexis gets kidnapped, they have to solve the case together, we get some family moments, Alexis is found and saved, Beckett gets shot in the process, Castle is upset and holding her, he kisses her, they share a moment, she blacks out, wakes up at hospital, he's sleeping there holding her hand she smiles, and BLACKOUT.

I could go on forever. lol.

And now I have to go finish writing to meet my deadline. :(

^^ the kidnapped and shot part happened on Bones. Only it was Brennan who got kidnapped and Booth who got shot.

I agree that there needs to be a spontaneous kiss. Actually, I'd like to see that happen, but then have them not be "official". Having to watch Beckett do the "walk of shame" through work and dealing with that awkwardness could be fun.

I feel as though they can give these two some action without actually losing some of the tension, yet at the same time, they don't really have to play games if that makes sense.

I like this idea, but I think it would be funnier if Martha, Esposito and Ryan and trying to force them under mistletoe for the entire episode (and of course they avoid it!), and then, at the end of the episode Castle and Beckett end up under the mistletoe all alone and finally give in.

This is so giving me pllot bunny ideas
