I think it would be interesting to have them together learning each others traits and oddies and how that effects their relationship. Always room for make up and break up's and coming together again. It would be interesting for an episode if maybe Beckett has to protect Castle from a stalker who wants him dead and she must have him stay at her apt instead of his apt.  >A woman who has a love fantasy with him)Cops could guard his Mom & daughter but Beckett would be assigned 24 -7 with Castle- sparks would fly no doubt. Remember I am new to this board and don't know if this idea which isn't original done on other shows before in past , has been discussed here on the board.

 I love the show and I came and stay because of the two of them, but enjoy the entire cast. However having said that if Castle & Beckett weren't on this show I wouldn't be tuning in. Replaced actors and I am gone, that has happened on shows, hope it doesn't ever happen on Castle. Love the stories and the cast.

In regards to Beckett and Castle dating other people, both of them are very passionate about things they care about. I think if we did see them date other people (mind you, briefly) if would be fun to see the jealously increase and increase until it explodes. I could totally see that happening.

I can already see the boiling over fight:

These two are so in love they are so much in denial they don't even know it. It is going to have to happen spur of the moment because they are so caught up in their cases they won't have planned it lol!
Maybe a case so big they get so excited they just jump into each others arms and it happens they just kiss out of excitement of solving something tough.

I'm totally and completely a fan of a spur of the moment/accidental kiss. Perhaps at the station or workin the case somewhere, and hey! Then Ryan and/or Esposito walk up and ask if they're interrupting something. Then they don't answer and Ryan/Esposito just shrug and walk away. Perhaps that's more fanfic…but I'd die laughing.

Now that I think about it, how do you accidentally kiss someone? Oops, sorry I didn't see your lips there…deep life questions to ponder…

I would like them to be on a case, maybe undercover and be forced into a situation where they HAVE to kiss to keep their covers. I think the kiss would start out small then buildup between them! When it's over, both don't know what to say and have no words. then at the end of the ep, they try to jusify to each other that it was nothing, just the case, but we the audience know the truth!

You know, i am really lousy at guessing what is going to happen.. but.. I have fun trying anyway!!:)

I found this quote of Rob Bowman's and posted it on the castle/beckett rel' thread but – I will repost it here since it is what has influenced my thoughts.. (sorry I can't remember the exact source, but if you want it I can find it- it was an article online somewhere legit..)

Rob Bowman had lots to say about this relatonship in an interview mid 2009…
QUESTION: They almost seem like they're together already. His family has really taken to her, plus Beckett and Castle already fight like they're a couple.
ROB BOWMAN: Yeah, like in episode five when they pretend they're married and they start bickering in front of the [apartment] tenant and she says, well if we're married, I want a divorce. They're always bickering like boyfriend-girlfriend, husband and wife. So, yes, we are behaving as so, but in her mind, it's never going to happen. And that is again, part of the chase. Men like that kind of thing. Rejection is the key to have you keep coming back.I'm positive if something were to happen, [something] more than conversation, it can only happen under the guise of inebriation. To the point of blackout, to the point of neither one of them remembering, to the point where both of them are saying — certainly her — that it never happened, you can't prove anything happened. And therefore the score is still 0-0. The truth is, we walk the line, every day, every scene. We're trying to make it really fun for the audience. Castle adores her, no question about it. With this in mind.. it sounds like an accidental kiss or spur of the moment kiss isn't going to happen- it would mean the score is no longer 0-0and they do like to keep the score even!! if something is going to happen – it needs to be because they are ready to jump into the proper real deal relationship- or…. it needs to be in a way which – neither can point at the other and know for certain that it really mean't something!! you know? as Rob Bowman suggests.. Inebriation! ha haaa.. or.. my personal favourite – the cover kiss.. ( but oh my.. I hope they don't go undercover as a couple in the whole S&M themed episode coming up!! I would kinda prefer that wasn't the venue!!)..

What other pretense can there be for a kiss without it actually meaning something? (but the audience knows it means everything??) ummm.. well it is all cliches isn't it.. but in the hands of castle's writers, it can be done with great charm!! Hmmm a kiss under the mistletoe (only I don't want to have to wait till the end of the year!!).. err a case of mistaken identity somehow… whooo at a masquarade party??!! Ummm.. When one of them is asleep and doesn't know anything about the kiss? (that old cliche- saw that in 'french kiss' with meg ryan..)

Oh I don't know.. will think aboout that one some more ( and have a thoroughly enjoyable time in the process! ) I still think though, given Beckett's character- if on the job she were somehow required to Kiss Castle to get the job done – she would do it!!!!

I really don't know how Rick and Kate should finally get together – I will leave the details up to the amazing writers however it is done will be amazing..

I guess I would love to see it be a case of them naturally falling into a relationship with each other – mutually.. does that make sense?

About the reaction after the kiss – my take is that neither of them would mention it, they would just pretend it didn't happen- but we know it is playing on their minds!!!! :)

On scarecrow and mrs king (ok my bad, I am not suppose to talk about other shows, but this cover was a good one) – the 'UST' couple went on a wedding cruise- where everyone on the cruise got married at the destination – so they had to solve the case in time or get married- and.. they had to get married!!! ha haaa. and thus – a lovely cover kiss that totally revealed their feelings was necessary! Anyone want to vote for a cover wedding? ha haaa..

Chris Carter is to blame for the poor ending of Mulder & Scully.   Rob didn't have much to do with TXF towards the end, especially the last movie….which tanked!

The first X-Files movie rocked and he did a great job directing it!  I wish he directed the last movie.  Rob does a much better job with the action sceens…..

I have full confidence that Rob will not pull the same stupid crap that Mulder & Scully went through. 

yeah, Rob Bowman had moved on and can't be held responsible for the last two seasons of the X-files :)  I heard Rob speak at an X-files thing recently and he is really in tune with the relationship and the chemistry between Castle/Beckett (Nathan/Stana)  and mining that chemistry. :)
