OfflineThere are many episodes that "Linked Together" – where there are direct or implied references between episodes. I thought that it would be fun to compile a list of these.
The most recent one on several levels is "Food to Die For" linked to "Fool Me Once". The direct reference is "Shut the Front Door" first spoken by Beckett in Fool Me Once and then again by her friend Maddison. Then they both had Beckett talking about how people can't change and someone is going to get hurt.
Another recent link is the first two episodes with Demming. In Den of Thieves he asks Castle's "permission" to pursue Beckett and Maddison asks Beckett if it's OK to go out with Castle.
Do you have others?

Den of Thieves and Tick, Tick, Tick… / Boom: Castle says "I saved your life twice two weeks ago" (Or was it " I saved your life two weeks ago – twice")
Actually, for Den Of Thieves I'm pretty sure it was "Two weeks ago, I saved your life twice!"

I believe there's a reference to "Famous Last Words" in "Vampire Weekend", where the sister is wearing a Blue Pill/Hayley Blue t-shirt – but you may want to double check.
correct, and that reminds me, someone more observant than me noticed the campaign ads in the background for Jeff Horn and Jason Bollinger in episode 102 Nanny McDead (when Beckett and Castle walk to the park), the men are in episode 104: Hell Has No Fury, Jeff Horn being the murder victim, Jason Bollinger is questioned a couple of times.
And I just wants to say, even though it's obvious, that episode 217 Tick, tick, tick and episode 218 Boom, are linked… since it's a two-parter.

I didn't notice that! Very interesting.
I think in Boom, when Beckett or Shaw (can't remember which) is looking at the collage that the murderer made of Beckett at his apartment, you can see the Cosmo article with the quote Beckett gives the reporter in episode 2.1 underneath her picture.

oh yeah, true. And in 217 Shaw starts out with "Read all about you in Cosmo", linking 217 with 201 also.
Aaand, in episode 203 Castle and Beckett have the Cosmo magazine with the article itself, linking 203 to 201.
In 203 Castle says: "And the picture isn't that bad either, though you don't always need to cross your arms." And in 218 we get to see the picture… she's crossing her arms.
Full circle.

OfflineFool Me Once and Den of Thieves.
from Fool Me Once:
Beckett: What was so important that you had to cut my sparring session short?
Castle: Just that I cracked this case wide open. You know, the thought of you fighting in the ring another woman; strangely arousing.
Beckett: Who told you I was sparring with a woman?
Castle: Ooh, your mystery date.
-
Beckett: What if I told you that my date was with your book?
from Den of Thieves:
during the sparring scene…
Beckett to Demming: You know the night before I met you, I went home to read a book.
They[Beckett and Demming] knew each other long before Den of Thieves.

Yeah. I don't think they knew each other before, either.
