I read somewhere online this week that the creator of the show said there would be a twist at the end of the 1st episode. What would Beckett do if the writers decided that the twist be that Josh also realized that he also loved Beckett and asked her to marry him? What would Castle do about it" What would he do if she said yes? Would she even tell Castle.

Well, I remember Andrew Marlowe mentioning that Josh won't be an impediment for Castle-Beckett relationship in Season 4, so I strongly hope that he'll keep his promise and won't go for that kind of a "twist".

I too doubt Josh will propose. That would be a real eyeroller.I think whatever the twist is will tie to the overarching story of JBs murder.

Again… No way. In fact I've said it before. Castle babies would have to wait a long time because Beckett would be on light-duty/maternity leave almost immediately, thus hindering the flow of the show. Plus, while they said Josh is an issue that they will have to deal with they also said that he WILL NOT impead on their relationship. So I'd bet my comic-con badge that there won't be either a proposal or pregnancy.

I still say no. They have enough on their plate. A baby would be plain dumb. This isn't Bones (no offense to those who watch). Josh would have to stay in the picture if she was pregnant. So No in English. No in Spanish. and No in French.[Image Can Not Be Found]

Too soap opera, plus Andrew Marlowe has already denied it, people were asking him about it before the end of season 3. I'm sure the twist is strictly connected with Johanna Beckett's murder.

It was sarcasm… I took health in high school. But like KalliopePL said, "This would be too soap opera and I'm sure they are smart enough NOT to go this way." Castle and Beckett may be FANS of daytime soaps (as am I), but "Castle" is not a daytime soap.

Josh (aka: DMB) is already married and this is the real reason why he always takes off and is gone for long periods of time…

I agree with most, it will not be a marriage proposal or baby. Since it said "end of the episode", and from general spoilers that there will be a time jump of some months, I doubt DMB will be around at the end of the episode. At least I hope he is taken care of at the beginning. If not, that will mean another 3-4 months of him being around (guessing at time jump) if he is still around and the end of the first ep.
