Can't wait to see how high this one climbs!  It is really filled with tie-ins to the episodes even more than Heat Wave…but should be really enjoyable for the more casual Castle fans or even those who don't watch the show.

I'm disappointed the with the drop – was hoping we'd break #5 this year with starting so high. I guess more people pre-ordered this year so there wasn't such a big increase in sales as last time. Could also be related to availability – I know Amazon already delayed shipping some orders, not sure if it's because reprint was needed.

I think that's the biggest problem: there's  been almost no reference to the book, except acknowledging during the premier that Castle had finished it.   No launch party in the show, no copies of the book showing up at the precinct…  We don't even now if Beckett has read it yet!   For a book that's been almost fending for itself (compared to Heat Wave, at least), it's doing great.  I wish they'd give it more nods in the show, though.

They will but I don't think it'll be out till about July if Heat Wave is anything to go by.
