Hi,
 I am new to this board and to Castle, also as a new viewer I'd like to tune in with my thoughts of this series. I know Chuck Bowman Rob Bowman's dad, a grand man a very good fella. I didn't know his son was involved with Castle so it was a true delight to see his name on credits. I knew this would be a quality show when I saw the name Bowman connected to Castle.
 I tuned in to a couple of episodes last season but couldn't get into the first few episodes and I went away again. I has seen Nathan for years on OLTL many years ago I might add and always loved his humor. I watched Susan Sullivan faithfully through my growing up years of Falcon Crest in the 1980's. I didn't know of any other cast members from the show. I had seen all the promos but didn't come back to Castle until season 2 episode 1. Now I am hooked and hooked well. I thought I would never invest myself in a television show again, every time I do they cancel something I have began to watch. Saying this they better not touch CASTLE. I follow Nathan and Jon on twitter what a bunch of characters those two are on their off time! I love the banter and the humor and the great acting on the show. I ran out Sunday and bought season 1 and caught up on the episodes watched all night until 5 am, my favs from season 1 was 5, 9-10.
I can tell the show is already growing from season 1, I love that Stana has let her hair grow out. She appears more sexy and feminine now in season 2, they are letting her dress better as well(I hope I spelled her name correctly) I just think she is a fine actress and the chemistry between her and Nathan is captivating. They click and how lucky were the producers and creator of Castle to have this happen. Nathan of course makes me laugh out loud and I love the side kick cops on the show too. They are like kids and Kate must play babysitter most of the time. The cast is fun and very talented. Story lines good, could be stronger in places. I love the romance not big on blood and guts so this is why this cop show is appealing there is a little bit of everything just right in all depts. Molly Quinn is a talented young actress she is going to really shine one day as an up and coming actress. I do want to see Beckett and Castle fight and make up that is what makes for great writing scenes. The foreplay is fun but the audience needs payoffs once in awhile to keep them coming back. Show more personal time with these two, and Kate coming over to visit with Alexis and Martha would be fun without Castle or with him. I was hoping for a Christmas episode but looks like none this year. I would love to see Kate and Rick get closer and explore their relationship outside of work, fun when they have car scenes and sneak looks at each other and talk in double talk and dance around their love and attraction for the other. I am not keen on when he goes out and has fun with other women and then tells Kate about it. Only pushes her farther away from him. He is growing up more in season 2, learning life isn't just a big party and he is learning to become less self involved. I hope the coming season brings more relationships to the show, I like the cop sidekicks and the coroner.
Last nights episode I loved the two guest actors Jeremy & Emma that was a nice ending for those two, would love to see Castle & Kate double date with them or befriend them. Kate has few friends who are out of the police dept. We see that Castle has many friends. I loved the coffee scenes throughout the show with the new coffee maker. Spilling coffee on Beckett I expected more banter there but it was nice, she is getting comfortable with him, letting her guard down- he will do something to bring the wall up again .
