Hey Hey Campers ,

 

Long time reader , so I decided to sign up. Im a 28 y/o male in love with this show.I enjoy reading everyones take on the subtext and undertones within the programme. I hope I will have good thoughts to give in time.

 

For now , I do have a question that I would like to get peoples opinions on.

Are we done with distractions of other people getting in the way(The Demmings , Josh and Ginas of this world)

I honestly dont mind how long it takes them to get together , as weve seen , they still have a lot of stuff to work out between them but I would hate for someone else to pop up out of the blue..

As to your question, AWM (the show's creator & main writer) said a while back that the SO storylines have been played out, and will not be significant obstacles going forward. It's a lot of reading, but if you dig through the General Season 4 thread, you will find it (and a lot more).

Welcome!  Wave  I certainly hope so!  I'm quite tired of the significant other distraction too.  As He-Touches-Things said above, I don't think anything of that sort will come back, but one never knows.  We had what looked like a new love interest for Castle earlier this season, but thank goodness it didn't go in that direction.  We'll see what the rest of the season brings, but if someone should pop up as a possible love interest, it should only serve to further Castle's and Beckett's attraction to each other.
