I'm new at this and I'm not sure if someone has already posted this previously but if you scramble "Nikki Heat" and use a couple of the letters twice it spells "Katherine". As in Katherine Beckett.

Except you need an "R" and another "E" and you're left with an extra "I" and an extra "K." Also, how do you know she spells it "Katherine" and not "Kathryn?"

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. All of the letters for Nikki Heat can be derived from Kate's first name if you spell it Katherine. If there is some other derivation that makes more sense then fine. I don't think Nikki Heat was a random name chosen by Castle. This may be one way he ties it together with his Muse.

And I know it's hard to tell from this pic, but I think it's safe to say that there's no “y” in her name here, which makes me more willing to believe that there could be some kind of connection between “Nikki Heat” and “Katherine.”

I getcha now. I was going from Nikki Heat to Katherine instead of the other way around. Interesting correlation.

Thanks Luna. I knew Ryan showed this page briefly, but I wasn't sure if we'd be able to see it. Looks like Katherine to me.

No problem. I wasn't sure either, and I'm still pretty sure we've seen her name much clearer somewhere else, but that's the only one I could remember. Glad it worked.

In another thread the discussion is about Beckett's first name. I remembered this thread from September with Luna's screen capture of Beckett's signature. Hope this helps!
