award drive-thru… you couldn't have described it better. i was disappointed but like everyone else has said… castle won! be happy! and at least it was in front of the audience (sort of) instead of some backstage video clip.

They deserved it pretty much.
For Nathan it seemed to be special so that's extra nice.
Stana looked a lot like Sophia Loren to me.

This is why I was shocked Nathan was selected. As he said in one of his backstage interviews, he's use to flying under the radar, and I expected this to be the case once again, but was pleasantly shocked and grateful for his long awaited recognition.

I have to say I never watched an award show with the intensity I did last night. The commercial break before Nathan's category was torture! I'm so happy that he was recognized in this way, and his speech was incredibly gracious and classy, with some nice flair at the end.
I was disappointed of course not to be able to see the cast on stage to accept favorite crime drama, but not surprised since it wasn't one of the major categories and the show length was limited. Still, thank goodness Stana was handed the award in person with mention of the show on the heels of Nathan's speech…this was so much better than the show just being randomly announced by presenters as happened with other categories or simply listed on the website.
I wish the rest of the cast had been able to be there to at least enjoy Nathan's victory and Castle's moment in the spotlight. I thoroughly enjoyed the interviews from the press room and AM's appreciation for the fans. Stana's pre-show interview and her acknowledgement of Nathan's nomination was lovely as well.
I had read an article with PCA predictions a few days before the awards, and the odds given for Castle in the crime drama category were pretty bleak. So I'm so proud of all the fans who made this happen for the Castle team! They deserve it, and I hope it translates into more ABC promotion and new eyes on the show.
I'm still giddy about it!

So funny, everywhere I went today people were stopping me to comment on last night's Castle and Nathan win. They kept asking me if I had heard. They don't watch Castle, but they know I do. I had to laugh when, after the 4th person stopped me, my boss called and said she had seen in on a morning show that Castle had won and it made her think of me. Perhaps my OCD is not as well hidden as I thought 
One said he was going to have to 'jump on that train' and my boss requested copies of my Season One DVD's. Spreading the Castle love

I am so incredibly happy for the show and Nathan! Ahh! I went absolutely crazy last night when they won!
Everyone who got to attend from the show looked amazing. I wish they had all been able to make it, but at least the entire cast and crew have an award to hold and be proud of now. I feel proud just being a part of this fandom…we voted a lot, and it felt great to finally have our show get the recognition it deserves. What a great night!

That is AWESOME AlwaysKate and EXACTLY why I keep saying these things are so important, voting may be tedious but in the end, if we succeed it's a fantastic opportunity to spread the word! It'll be interesting to see if there's a change in the ratings this week, though I would expect a rise being the second week back anyway

I screamed when Nathan won (more like a squee) and yelled "Nathan won, Nathan won" Is it just me or did he sound like he was gonna cry I am so happy for him winning tv drama actor and so happy for the cast and crew for winning tv crime drama

I generally avoid awards shows but watched this one only because of Castle. I'm so glad they won! Castle has always been an underdog and they deserve accolades for delivering a great show week after week. Congrats!

You know when I was watching Nathan in the pre-intv before the show I thought he is either REALLY nervous or he doesn't feel well. Because he just looked like he wasn't feeling well.. But by the end of the night I'm sure winning made everything better.
