Would you consider "Castle" to be PG rated?  That is, is it okey for youngsters to watch?  Is there any sex, violence, profanity, nudity?

I'd say it's a PG show. No language, nudity, or violence that I remember. There was one sex scene with Castle and his ex wife in the first season but it hardly showed anything. I know lots of families that watch this show so I'd say it's very safe for the youngsters. I think the 10 pm timelsot throws people off. It's more in line with Moonlighting, Murder She Wrote, and Remington Steele than CSI and the like.

The only thing I would be concerned about is some of the murder scenes are a bit graphic

Yeah that's pretty much the only thing that you gotta be careful about. Although there are somethings that are implied but only if you read between the lines. Most youngsters won't understand the implied jokes.

Yeah I would just say the crime scenes, while the bodies etc. are in play those can be a bit graphic.
