I'm not sure if there's a topic like this already (and I apologize sincerely if there is; I never can figure out, although I usually search before posting.), but anyways. This is just a place to put little facts and quirks of Castle (and the Nikki Heat series) that you've noticed. I'll start.

Nikki Heat- Rook. Anyone notice how a Rook, in chess, is a reference to Castle? The Rook is commonly called a "castle" and plus, it looks like one.

In additon there is a move called "castling" when the Rook and King exchange places.

Right Now, only happens once.

zillionz, have you been to the Castle wiki lately? In lots of the articles, there is a "Trivia" section with lots of these little factoids. Being totally addicted to updating the wiki myself, I try to add as many of these as I can over there as I see them here on the site or notice them myself.

But another thing I noticed about the most recent Nikki Heat book Naked Heat, is that a character is introduced named Petar Matic. Obviously a nod to the lovely Stana Katic, especially since Petar is supposed to be from Croatia.
