Yeah, they've been having problems with the followers. He was capped at 300 for a while, and now has none and can't be added. I think it's a twitter glitch.

Twitter is having some glitches, mine did the same after you click follow it will take a few hours for it to actually add him. It finally ended up working for me a few days ago when I followed him.

Is it still working? Because when I checked just now, he was listed as having 0 followers… Before he had been capped at 300. And I could follow him for a little while (a few hours, maybe?) and then I wasn't anymore.
I'm still trying to get over the fact Castle's a Mets fan. I guess if I could forgive Archie Goodwin and Ellery Queen for being Mets fans, I can forgive Castle. I guess.

No still glitches unfortunately. I sadly only have about 6 fans and their at 0 now. A lot of people are having that problem and their trouble shooting it as fast as they can.

If you’ve joined Twitter in the past week, you may be running into a problem with followers. Specifically, some recently joined folks have reported losing their followers or have reported an inability to be followed.
We’re actively working on this problem and hope to release a fix soon.
Also, Castle's account wasn't originally set up by Alexis. 3 days ago he tweeted something, but realized later on that what he said ["tweeterific"] was probably copyrighted by a Twitter App called Twitterrific so they deleted it. They started anew with the Alexis back-story.

I originally searched for “WriteRCastle” on Twitter just to see how many people have replied to his tweets. Since Twitter was having some trouble with a lot of stuff yesterday, the deleted tweet somehow showed up. You could still see the said [undeleted] tweet by searching for from:WriteRCastle on Twitter.

Wow, that's awesome. Now wouldn't it be great if Stana or Det. Kate Beckett got Twitter? Or if she was at least mentioned by Castle?
I think that Detective Beckett would be too busy for twitter but wouldn't mind seeing her referenced. Let the fun begin, can't wait to see what escapades they come up with. I wonder if his twitter will be mentioned on the show and if any 'info' will show up when the episodes are aired. That would take some coordination but it would be ridiculously awesome.

Stana Katic actually does have a twiter account, but has never updated. It links from her website – so I'm assuming it is official. Maybe she just isn't into computers or iphone/blackberry updating.

Richard Castle also has a facebook page and the twitter account automatically updates facebook.
Also if you get on Facebook, check out the Trucker fan page. Its got a great picture of Nathan Fillion.
