Hey!

Probably my brain isn't working very well after all this voting! Tongue But I was thinking that in my language "Richard Castle" sounds very funny and weird Laugh

So…what about to write the version in your language?

- Italian: RICCARDO CASTELLO

Wouldn't it be Richard Chateau in French?

It's funny to think like this, I know that Guiseppe Verdi translates to Joe Green in English. Right?

I think it would be Ricard Chateau, but I'll leave it up to a native to say for sure.

In Dutch it'd be Richard Kasteel, haha.

In Slovenian: Rihard Grad. [Image Can Not Be Found]

OK Castle, but it's accompany and observe, and not participate and annoy, got it?

I´m from Argentina so in spanish sounds really cool and like a powerful and important name. you write it like this: "RICARDO CASTILLO". And if you translate Richard Alexander is  even more beautiful because It sounds really distinguish: "RICARDO ALEJANDRO".And this combination of names is coincidentially like the ones you usually see in latin american soup operas.I really like it…..RICARDO ALEJANDRO…. BEAUTIFUL…..Love

Haha, this is cool.

So Singapore has 4 official languages, English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil.

In Chinese – Richard can be translated to "理查德" or "理查" (er, it sounds like lee-cha-te for the first one, lee-cha for the second) and Castle literally is "城堡" (cheng-bao)

In Malay – it would be Richard Benteng

…I know zero Tamil.

Obviously nowhere near as sexy as Riccardo Castello. Love2

Oh, the things you don't know about me can fill a book.

Since no one really calls him RICHARD (well, except his mother!), would RICK translate to Ric instead of Riccardo?  Just wondering…I know a lot of other languages don't really have nicknames, like we do in the US!
